The first pair we got was broken upon opening the package where the top of the light connects to the pole. The packaging from the manufacturer is just a bag (should be a box) and Amazon will throw anything small in a bubble mailer without consideration. We have fixed it with super glue probably six times and it just keeps breaking. We ordered a second pair hoping for better quality and it’s the same story. Came broken and even super glue won’t keep it together. Very disappointing gift for a child and too bad because it could be so cool.

I thought it was cute online but it arrived broken. Ordered from a different company and it arrived broken also. Maybe if it was wrapped securely it would have arrived in one piece.

I’m docking a star because the top does easily disconnect from the pole. Leaving wires exposed. For this reason this stays in our train box where playtime is always supervised instead of being placed in my sons car box in his room. I will warn parents, it’s rather loud, and no way to disable sound while lights are in use. My mom (grandma) called it the most annoying toy of all time, and said it should disappear from my house. Personally, I think there are a lot more annoying toys out there. That being said, if you’re sensitive to sound, get earplugs or just skip this one. My kids love it, they live all traffic related play though. The light cycles through a program, no way to stop unless it’s turned off. My kids like it, just wish it didn’t come so easily.
