After spending years sitting in its case, I'm sure my trumpet would enjoy being played if it was out in the open. So I was excited to see this wall bracket. The metal bracket is nice and sturdy, but that's the end of the positives. The bell shaped plastic holder arrived unattached from the wall bracket, so I could see how it goes together. As you can see in the picture, the bottom of the bell holder has a large threaded hole. This simply presses onto the large hex nut. It doesn't screw onto the bracket, which would be much more secure. I would not trust it with the weight of any instrument. To top it all off, the bell holder looks like it might fit a clarinet, definitely not a trumpet. There are also no instructions, but it mounts with simple wall anchors and screws.
