HOW TO INSTALL THE TPMS SENSOR

step1

Loosening the tire:

Lift your car, remove tire and the valve stem core to allow all the air to escape, then strip away the tire.

step 2

Dismount the sensor

  • Dismount the tire: Clamp the tire onto the tire changer, and adjust the valve at 1 o’clock relative to the tire separation head. Insert the tire tool and lift the tire bead onto the mounting head to discount the head.
  • Dismount the sensor: With a screwdriver remove the fastening screw and sensor from the Valve stem, then loosen the nut and remove the valve.

step 3

Mount sensor and valve

  • Mount sensor and valve: Slide the valve stem through the valve hole of the rim.
  • Tighten the screw-nut with 4.0 Nm with the help of the positioning pin.
  • Assemble the sensor body against the rim and tighten the screw.

step 4

Mount the tire

  • Mount the tire: Place the tire on the rim, making sure that the valve faces the separation head at an angle of 180 degrees. Mount the tire over the rim.
  • Inflate the tire, check the balance before installing the wheel.

REMOVAL OF THE TPMS SENSOR:

1. Remove the screw that attaches the sensor to the valve stem and remove the sensor.

2. Using a standard tire valve stem tool, pull the valve stem through the hole and discard it. Use a rubber mallet or a block of wood to avoid damage to the rim.

Installation of TPMS Sensor:

1. Insert the new sensor through the valve stem hole making sure the flat side of the sensor is toward the rim.

2. Using a standard valve stem tool pull the stem straight through the hole until the valve stem is fully seated. To avoid damage to the sensor and the rim, use a rubber mallet or block of wood placed between the rim and the tool to make sure the valve is pulled straight.

RELEARN the TPMS sensor:

一:OBD Relearn:

1.OBDII connector is required

2.Confirm TPMS sensors are properly installed

3.Adjust tire pressures to placard value

4.Activate TPMS tool on left front tire sidewall next to the valve stem

5.Repear for RF/RR/LR tires

6.Apply OBD connector to DLC

7.Turn ignition to ON

8.Press OK on TPMS tool to transfer data to ECU

9.Disconnect OBD connector from DLC

10.Turn ignition to OFF then start the engine

11.Drive for at least 5 minutes at 28mph

二:AUTO-Relearn

1.OBD connector is not required

2.Confirm TPMS sensors are properly installed

3.Adjust tire pressures to placard value

4.Activate sensors with TPMS Tool

5.Drive vehicle for up to 20 minutes above 15 mph or until TPMS light is off

TIP:1.In some cases it may help to wait 15 minutes between steps 4 and 5

2. If the system fails to operate properly, check all the installation procedures to ensure proper installation and retest.

If you have an 09 Wrangler JK and your TPMS light is on, BUY THESE! I had a couple of sensors from D count Tires and they didn’t work. I was told that the only ones that worked had to be from the OEM which was almost $1k. So I took these to D count tires and they tried to scan them, but the scanner wouldn’t pick them up. I said to put them in anyway thinking these wouldn’t work either. Within 2 miles of driving, the TPMS light turned off! No need to program or set anything up. Just put them in and drive. I did not get one for the spare tire, only the 4 that came in the box. I am very happy with the results.

Put these in a new set of wheels I bought for my 1012 Wrangler. Synced right up with no problem. Beats the heck out of spending $250 from the dealer

I had one of the sensors quit on my 2006 Jeep Liberty, and bought the 4-pack. Of course the tire had to have the bead broken before the sensor could be changed out. Within a few hundred yards of driving, the remounted wheel sensor ⁹began accurately reporting the pressure. Here's hoping I won't need the other 3 'til it's time for new tires.

Installed these on my sons 2012 Jeep Wrangler Sport 2-door after we put new tires on. The Tire shop wanted $500 for a set of 4, plus programming according to them. I ordered these from Amazon and had the tire place install them and do no programming. After driving the Jeep for about 5 miles they synched automatically and the TPMS light went off. For the price you can't beat them! Thank you!

I installed the sensors myself on a Saturday. Used the press at the shop to break the bead, cut the old sensorless stems out, installed these guys. They seem delicate but they went in fine and work great. No programming needed on the 2011 Chrysler 200. Drove up the street for 2 minutes and light went out. Now I have peace of mind knowing my wife's car has TPMS sensors on her winter set of tires for a great price

La calidad se ve bien, se instalaron y no hubo necesidad de programación posterior, despues de trabajar aprox. 3 kilometros la computadora los reconocio y se borro el codigo del tablero.
