Each tube contains 2.82 oz of oil, sufficient to fully refill your demolition hammer. The suggested oil fill volume is 2.29 oz for TR-100 series and 1.94 oz for TR-300 series. It does the job. I've not used other brands to compare with but if something works well there's no need to shop around.

I used a couple of tubes of this in my electric jackhammer. Finally, I ran out and just used 10W-50 motor oil. The hammer is still working, maybe because it is consumed/leaks out fairly rapidly. It is probably worth using the "good stuff" (whatever that is) if you have a $1000 Makita hammer that doesn't leak. However, for the $200 Chinese versions, I think motor oil is an acceptable alternative (IMHO, of course-- I don't use my hammer on a daily basis so YMMV).
