We had been to John Deere dealership and they kept telling us had to order entire seat mechanism for about $500 and couldn't buy the seat only. We took a chance and ordered this seat from Amazon. This seat works perfectly and mounted to safety start mechanism with out any problems. Definitely recommend and can't beat the price!
