This is by far the best deal I’ve come across for a wood hangboard it’s really nice quality. Other reviews said sharp edges but I thought I’d try it out anyway. There is NO sharp edges anywhere on this. Some of the pockets have a little bit of a roughness to them but that will smooth out after a few more training sessions. I have a plastic resin hangboard I’ve been using for 5 years and this is going to be my new go-to board. It’s beautiful and I’m just amazed it’s half the price of other similar boards. The top pocket fits my iPhone 16 pro max perfectly. So can use it with a timer or training apps. Any phones that size or smaller should fit fine.

Overall the board seems well constructed. I have really been able to use it as drywall alone can't support the forces put on this board, even with the extra support of the door jam.The drywall anchors they provide are a joke. I bought expensive new ones and still can't support on drywall above door.If this is a common problem, it should be advertised

Well made, sturdy, and seems like it's sanded well. You should probably use different drywall screw setup--the ones that come with this will definitely not hold anyone over 100 lbs.

I can see the sharp edges around the pockets. It is really danger when hanging.
