It was said that in the German tradition, the Nutcracker Decorations are symbols of good luck, Modern nutcrackers are mostly decorative, and not able to crack nuts. The Nutcracker soldier originates from late 17th century Germany. They were often given as gifts, and at some point, they became associated with the Christmas season. They grew in popularity around the 19th century and spread to nearby European countries. For the US, a Christmas nutcracker soldier is a beautiful decoration that complements any traditional Christmas theme. We have adapted the soldier as a way of bringing a little whimsy and color into our homes during the Christmas season. They come in different sizes and shapes and of course every color of Christmas.
