Missie uses two layers of freezer paper to make EPP and Applique templates, then irons the shape to the wrong side of the fabric, paints the seam allowance with Premium Quilting Starch and dries it with a mini iron. The result for EPP is that the papers can be removed BEFORE sewing. No bulky papers in your hand while piecing EPP. The result using the same technique for applique prep is a perfect shape. This freezer paper is so much better because it is so much stiffer and won’t bend, shrink or distort due to pressure, heat or moisture. This means the same template can be used over and over, more than 25 times, which will save time and give excellent results of perfect shapes quickly and easily. This makes a huge difference when using the starch preparation technique. The color is brown, but don’t worry, patterns can be traced by using a light box or window. It can also go through ink jet and office jet printers with ease for fast template preparation.

I have no idea if they are good or not, I haven't tried them yet. I'm too furious about the advertising. It isn't about the pennies, but about the deception. This needs to be fixed and fast!

Advertisement picture shows package to have 50 sheets. Only 40 sheets are in the package. Unfortunately, Amazon chose to package bent in an envelope - since I'd purchase flat sheets so I could put it through a printer, this was concerning. However it worked if I put a single sheet through and perhaps the rest will flatten if put under a large book. Funny, because the envelope would have held it in a flat pisition, though a box with filler would have been better.Holds reasonably well to cotton, but don't expect to manhandle it. Works for my purpose (large template ironed to knit fabric). Held on to the fabric reasonably well though it did start to peel away towards the end of cutting around the shape - but not unreasonably so and I could complete my project - and better and more easily than using the freezer paper on a roll.

I’m pretty disappointed- I was expecting to receive 50 sheets and my package says 40. But it looks like this is a pretty common thing. Buyer be aware.

The freezer paper works great in my color laser printer. The picture in the listing shows a 50 sheet pack and I only received a 40 sheet pack : ( Not as good a value.
