Even though I drive everywhere I go here in Virginia I realized that I still needed a umbrella. This one fit the bill, It's built to last. The compact size is great and the easy to open and close is convenient. It performs as is supposed to and does not look cheap!

Since I bought the umbrella while visiting family in the US the window of opportunity to return it for another didn't exist, and now I'm in possession of a lovely purple umbrella that stood up to recent winds but is extremely difficult to close. I'm not sure if the "down" button is stuck or if this particular umbrella is simply defective,

I purchased the dark purple version, as I live in a climate that receives a LOT of rain. This works great! The color just happened to perfectly match my favorite jacket, so I look very color-coordinated and cheerful on our gloomy, rainy days, weeks and months. 10/10 recommend!

Decent umbrella, opens and closes really well. The green is beautiful, very deep color. I havent tried it outside yet, but it seems as sturdy as any good umbrella! Even the most sturdy umbrella cant resist a big storm, so the issue for me was finding and umbrella that opens and closes without any problem.The 42 inches size is really large, quite enough. Happy to finally have found an umbrella that works for a reasonnable price, will buy again if it breaks.

Nice big umbrella. Easy to open but very difficult to totally close the telescoping rod. I sometimes have to use my knee and push against it. Seemed fine in light wind. Nice color. Very difficult to put in the case. I just leave it out.
