It's simply a must have. We all know how great the Treager grill is, yes?I was using a cooler, covered in aluminium foil, to hold food that was ready to grill or take food off the grill to serve. This gives you the space for your tongs, spices and it provides enough service area to stage food coming and going.I grilled 2 large turkeys over the holidays on my Traeger. When my "idiot brother-in-law" decided to monopolize the oven with his Prime rib, all the side dishes had to wait. My sister-in-laws considered me to be the hero when I pointed out that I had a second oven. I had the holding area right in front of me to deal with all of the side dishes and turkeys. This is such an easy and economical fix. I wish Traeger would have included it with all the big grills.It folds up so you can use the included cover to keep it out of the elements.We've all invested a chunk of money into our Traegers. This is a semi-small investment to make your grill drastically more user friendly. It's like buying a car with no cup holders.I'm just a fan of my Traeger. I'm not a paid spokesperson or writer.Happy grillin!Ken

Although something like this should have came with my Traeger, it’s totally worth the money! Great shelf and very sturdy. A lot bigger that I thought. East to install. Put it on a century 885 Costco special. Fit like a dream

Fits perfect, super easy to install. Why this isn’t included when you buy the smoker, is beyond me. Maybe Traeger is taking a page out of the Apple playbook by making obvious accessories an ‘extra’. Either way, we use ours every time we use the smoker.
