After installing this on my new Ironwood smoker, I can’t imagine using the grill without it. It installs reasonably easy and is very robust. It unfolds and folds easily and makes grilling more convenient. It is very expensive but it is a must-have accessory.

I have a Silverton XL and the larger PAL SHELF is, no joke, like 1/4 - 1/2 inch too long for it (bad planning by Trager). Thus shorter one easily fits and does the job. It is easy to install.

I ordered this accessory shelf shortly after purchasing my new Traeger Ironwood pellet smoker. After first use, I realized the smoker really needed a front shelf in addition to the large side shelf already provided. While smaller than the one I had on my older Traeger Pro 34, it is still very useful. I’d prefer the shelf to be a couple of inches wider and longer but this one works. Build quality and ease of installation is excellent. Highly recommended.

Too large for my Traeger Smoker. Price was good, but unable to install on my Traeger grill - too large.Inventory needs to verify delivery of these Pop Lock shelfs, I received three identical shelves, not just the unit I paid for. Also I had to travel 22 miles to deliver the three units to UPS, for return delivery. You should thank me for not selling all three of these units on EBay.

TBH, when you spend 2k on a smoker, it should come with a shelf. But I’ve come to expect that everything is an upcharge. I bought an open box shelf which is made for the regular ironwood, but provides me enough shelf space to hold a full steam table pan. I would have gone with the XL version, but this was $50 cheaper. No regrets.
