I purchased the 3 inch coupler for a Magic Tilt boat trailer made in the mid 2000's. I was able to use the existing holes on the trailer, which matched the holes on the coupler, so no drilling was needed. The installation was very easy. This unit is well constructed and the trailer latch snaps into place with ease. I decided to replaced the bolts and nuts since the trailer is on the coast in Georgia and the old bolts were showing signs of corrosion. My trailer needed one 4' 3/4 sized bolt and nut and two shorter 3/4 inch nut and bolts to match what came on the trailer. For the removal and installation, I used some spray lubricant, a socket and wrench to remove the old bolts and secure the new ones in place.

Higher rating than the one I had for a good price. Slipped over existing trailer tongue but needed slight shim of 1/8" piece of plate. Has holes in case you want to just bolt it on.

Good product. I was looking for a coupler for the oxcart and I kept buying differcouplers but they weren’t long enough. This one has a long neck which gives it more stability. Good craftsmanship well built.

Put the coupler on log splitter to move log splitter with 4x4 as needed. Third one we bought. My husband kept buying made in China and the holes would not line up correctly. I went to Amazon, searched American made, got it overnight and took less than a minute toInstall.
