These springs are perfect for my trailer with the dropdown ramp. You get two pair for the price and they come with instructions you really need to pay attention to because there are right and left coils. There is nothing not to like about these.

When you have a trailer with heavy steel fold-down ramps, you NEED these type of helper springs. The original assist springs don't last forever and eventually break. These ramp coil springs are a perfect replacement and great addition to trailers that never came with springs to begin with. This purchase included TWO SETS and costs less than 35 bucks per pair. There are two LEFT and two RIGHT side springs, so pay attention to the their direction when installing. These are made to fit a shaft diameter of 1 and 1/2 inches, though I imagine they could work on smaller diameter shafts, perhaps down to 1 inch.
