I'm a LEO and was looking for a cheaper body cam value wise with quality. No Chinese software here. So far I'm impressed. Excellent quality in the camera, the app is easy and impressive. Very few buttons with a large recording on the front. I think this is exactly what I was looking for.

First off the instructions are horrible. They do not explain how to properly activate the recording function (double press the power button) or deactivate (again double press the power button). There is no indication of function when in incognito mode as it doesn't vibrate or beep to tell you it's started recording. Mine locked up right out of the box and wouldn't respond to any button presses, wasn't able to be reset and was rendered fully useless. Prior to that it wouldn't begin recording upon button presses and took me 4 hours to even get it somewhat functional with lockups taking 2 hours a shot before it would begin to function again. I bought this because of the brand being transcend but it's super buggy and unreliable. There is no way this is enterprise quality for LEO use because the times you'd need it, it wouldn't work.

Friday, November 25, 2022Received the BodyCam, set the settings and test it out. While testing out, it stop working. I contact Transcend for help, very supportive. It's working again, thanks to the Support. I continue messing around with the Operation of the Camera, thinking as many scenarios that I can think of. Thanks to the Support, I know what to do if the Camera stop working again. This will be my 3rd Body Cam and hopefully my last that I've owned, I previously own a BOBLOV for about 4 years. It still works BUT I was not able to pull footages out. While owning BOBLOV, I was still searching for a good quality, affordable that will fit my budget and can share any time when I need to. I've already purchase all the necessary accessories that I need. I purchase the Body 30 due to its reliable "Pre Recording or Buffering" feature. The only downside is, it takes a few seconds to go into "Pre Recording" mode after powering it on unlike the Transcend DrivePro Body 10, it starts recording immediately after powering it on. Keep in mind that Body 10 does not support "Pre Recording" mode. For those of you who doe not know what "Pre Recording" mode is, it records all the event but it is not save until you press the "Record" button. In this case, for Transcend DrivePro Body 30, you press 2 times to start recording otherwise it will not save. When you press 2 times, it will start recording and include the previous event then save.Saturday, November 26, 2022I put the Body Cam on a field test. I've been searching for a Body Cam that I can do "Pre Recording or Buffering" mode that I can rely on while BOBLOV also has the feature BUT it was not reliable and battery life was only about 6 hours when I needed more. What I also like about the Transcend DrivePro Body 30 is the Stealth Mode and Phone App features, you can put it on Stealth Mode whenever you want and being able to pull footages on the go and share it. I am giving this a 4 star rating right now until I put it in more testing on the field.Friday, January 20, 2023While putting the body camera into field test, I've been noticing that the Microphone was having issues capturing voice from another person when viewing the footages on an iPhone, Mac and sharing to another person. I've reached out and again fantastic service, they help me out and trying to figure out what was the issue. Since I live in CA and not too far away from the HQ, instead of shipping it or receiving it, I decided to drive to the HQ instead because I really needed the body camera for work. Got a brand new batch camera to replace it under warranty. They also have been receiving reports of Microphone issues and this solves it. Time to put it into a test and will update later.

I am a security officer and I have to say all in all it's a great camera. The audio is clear the picture is amazing. I have been using it for about 3 weeks now and the reason I give it only 3 stars is... the battery. Yes it is an internal battery that is suppose to last up to 11hrs on stand by. It does not. It won't even last a full 8hr shift on stand by. In all honesty my battery probably last about 6hrs and that's it. I was really hoping it would be better in that part but it is what it is. Other than that super disappointing battery life the body cam is so easy to use and you can pull up videos and pics right on your phone and edit and send them off all right in your hand. But gosh that horrible battery life. Well I hope this review helps.

Great camera does exactly what i was hoping and that’s as described..very pleased so far! I have the pro 10 this upgrade was well worth the convenience of the videos on demand to phone! Camera is three times heavier than the 10 model so definitely need solid clothing to keep the right recording angle

Ideal el sistema búfer, tenerla en modo On y apretar el botón cuando es necesario. Funcionamiento perfecto para grabaciones durante un turno entero. La baterÃa aguanta más de 8 horas,aunque para asegurarme de que vaya todo bien, procuro cargarla cada dÃa. Sino tengo la opción de dosificar cómo la uso, para que me dure dos turnos de trabajoSi quieres tener una herramienta que te proteja de cualquier evento, que sea fácil de manejar y con garantÃas, no lo dudes.

BodyCam di qualità eccellente per chi lavora nelle FF.OO.La qualità delle immagini è perfetta, è facile da usare, il tutto permette di usarla in ogni situazione.Le immagini anche in visione notturna sono ottime!!!!L’aggancio magnetico fornito non è male solo che in caso di corsa le immagini saranno poco stabili, consiglio di comprare con 30€ un aggancio magnetico sempre da Amazon e il problema è risolto.CONSIGLIATISSIMA!!!!

I'm really pleased with this product.It is easy to use and ensures I get a record of any negative or unpleasant interactions.I'm am older person and feel less able to be and feel safe but should anything happen to me there is a visual record.

The body pro app is a joke because the live view speed is useless given it's speed of about 0.2 frames per second. That is correct, about every 5 seconds the image is refreshed! If you are wearing a body cam for your protection, you would want to be able to transmit and record the live stream remotely. Forget about it with this camera.

Transcend is a great company, good customer service and high quality products. This is the second Body cam we have purchased from them. We really appreciate this model, long battery life, excellent video quality and audio is improved over the 10 model. Very reliable camera and easy to use.
