Exactly as described. Seems like a quality filter and gaskets are ok. Reminder, these are rubber gaskets. I'm installing without sealer (silicone or Permatex) and hoping the rubber stays where it's supposed to....

Very easy to install. Had to due the rear main oil seal on a 4.0 so I figured while I was under there why not change out some transmission fluid and instal a new filter.

I got this specific one because I thought it came with a cork filter. Cork gaskets are usually better because they don’t have the tendency to pop out the side whenever you torque down the bolts on the transmission pan like rubber gaskets do. Yes, cork gaskets can be a bit messy to clean up, but they prevent leaking much better in my experience. However, this did not come with a cork gasket. Instead, it came with a rubber one other than that it was what I needed.

The set comes with a filter and 2 gaskets. The gaskets are wadded up and I put them under a couple of magazines for a few days to flatten them. The gaskets are made of silicone or some other rubber like material. The filter appeared to be made of the same material as the unknown brand of the previous one that had be In and working for 30,000 miles. One gasket fit my 1995 Dodge Ram and tossed the other. To hope it didn’t leak I retorqued the pan screws to 13 ft. lbs. and so far so good. Great price!

I ordered this for my 1965 Signet 273 ic with the 904 auto trans. The kit came with both gaskets, 904 and 727, which is good because the filter is the same.
