  • The overlapping ironing areas will have a darker color than the other parts.

  • Due to insufficient pressure or ironing time, the transfer doesn't stick onto the wood very well.Just repeat the operation steps again and follow the ironing time and pressure specified in the operation instructions to solve this problem.

  • Tru-Wood Heat Transfer Paper Inkjet 1.0 is compatible with pigment and dye ink, which are regular ink used by inkjet printers. Don't use sublimation ink.

  • Please read the instructions fully before using the product. Before you start a big DIY project, do a FULL TEST with one sheet transfer paper. So as not to cause large losses.

  • No. When transferring different areas, lift and lower the ironing tool to avoid wrinkling the design by moving it horizontally.

This was my first experience with heat transfers of photos to wood. I was impressed with the image quality. Follow the instructions and you'll find the process easy.

Worked great. Only thing that perhaps could improve would be if transparent areas came through transparent.

I wanted to try this product for wood burning. I thought the transferred image would be a great template. I press the image on, then burn through the transfer onto the wood behind it. The product works as advertised; it worked for my application. The instructions (which were poorly translated from some other language) advises to cut away the white edges from your transfer before applying it. This method would work reasonably well for images with smooth edges (rectangular or circular) but it is not feasible to do that with a more intricate design.I can't imagine why they make the background white instead of clear. With a clear background it would still leave a film, but the film would be CLEAR, letting more of the beauty of the wood coming through.

It's nice to be able to easily apply graphics to what is a new medium for me: wood. My cousin created some wood pieces with easels and we put photos of her new grand-baby on them and sent them to Hawaii to her daughter. Sorry I'm not allowed to put their photos online but suffice it to say, they came out gorgeous! We used my Canon MP250 to create the images. It's great to have easy-to-follow instructions and not be concerned about mirroring images as with other photo transfer methods. We also used my small iron and ironing pad that are dedicated only for craft work and the cotton piece that's included in this package protected the pictures while they were being transferred.I found some leftover wooden wall tiles with mirrors in the center that were used many Moons ago in our old house. I wasn't sure what I'd do with them but I knew they'd come in handy for some creative endeavor. So I'm gonna add inspirational quotes and graphics and give them as gifts, thanks to this TransOurDream paper.

Poor instructions doesn't seem to really transfer image to the wood, but actually just paste the cut out paper to the wood, and the wood shows through. Very disappointed and said it transfers the image to the wood all I'm saying is it only pays it to the wood.

Pretty neat craft material. Easy enough to print, just make sure to set up the printer for the "scale to fit" option if you have an original photo that's smaller than what you're applying it to - this way it fills the space. It took one wasted transfer paper before I realized this. It only took about 10 minutes of thoroughly ironing and whatever paper that was not heated will peal away fairly easily. I did this on a would board and noticed that you cannot see any would grain through the photo as stated - maybe it's the photo I chose? All and all, if you don't care about the wood grain showing, it would be worth getting.

Read the instructions before using these so you print on the correct side. Once you print, you simply iron the design on like HTV. It allows a more graphic design than HTV alone.
