These are awesome! I have a dual-compartment kitchen trash can that holds both trash and recycling. Also, because we recycle more than we throw away,, we use the larger compartment for the recycling and the smaller one for the trash. So when we have guests over, they are usually confused and throw things away in the wrong side. These are perfect - I stuck them on the outside of the trash can to properly label each side, so there shouldn't be any more confusion. They could also go on the inside of the lid. I love that they are magnets and not stickers, so I can remove them without damaging the surface of the trash can. The design is also attractive, and not an eyesore. I wish I had found these things sooner!

So this does what it's advertised to do, I just found the picture to be slightly misleading as it looks like a glossy plastic button instead of a magnet with a flat decal on it.Just wanted to make that distinction since the photo editing of the product obscured that fact.

These magnetic labels are perfect for my stainless steel double trash can. They are sleek and stylish. And although we obviously know which side is for trash and which side is for recycling it helps when we have guests or family over and they don’t have to guess or ask.

I have two identical trash cans side by side and needed to mark them in some way to differentiate between trash and recycle. I have a label maker and thought I'd just make a label and stick it on. So glad I didn't do that. These are magnetic and stick tightly to the lid of my trash cans. They look like they are part of the can. For cleaning they just remove. Can gets polished and decal gets wiped. No gunk stuck around the edge of the decal from cleaning as it would have been if I had put a label or sticker on it as I had planned.I was a little concerned when ordering these about the size if they would be large enough (my can lid is 17" across). I believe they are listed as extra small. The size is perfect! Easy to see yet not too big.If you have a stainless steel set of trash cans that magnets will stick to; BUY THESE!
