I purchased this Treal - Hardened Steel Portal Gear Set for my FMS - FCX24 K5 Blazer to replace the crappy FMS factory steel gears. The factory steel portal gears from FMS & are poorly machined. Installing the Treal gears increased my run time by 13+ minutes with the stock motor & also is far much better at super slow crawling. I highly recommend getting both the Treal - FMS - FCX24 2-Speed Hardened Steel Transmission Gears & the factory FMS - FCX24 Steel Transmission kit, yes you need both. The reason is the Treal kit does not include a metal shift fork & shift fork drum, which is a must do to bomb proof the 2-speed transmission. Excellent product that every single FMS - FCX24 owner needs installed on there rig.

Never had issues with Treal gears period. These fit as described and no extra modding or bull crap. However, Treal doesn't like to work with Injora, so if you have portal covers from Injora, don't tighten up the covers as it will stall. Luckily, I have a set of Treal outer portal covers to match. Gears were flawless, no burs or imperfections. Super easy install, just be sure to add grease! Comes with extra pins. If you're running plastic, get these.
