I technically got it for myself, because I love being able to sit or lay on a flat swing and just sway and chill.I'm really wanting to install this swing (or one of my other different varieties that I've gotten recently) in my bedroom for my chill time, but I love that I can also hang this up outside somewhere if there is a safe and sturdy place.I'd gotten a similar saucer swing a while ago, but it turned out to be significantly smaller than initially advertised, so when I saw this one of an actual 40 inches, I had to jump on it.So now I've got a smaller one and this larger one, and I really like that variety.These saucer swings are really easy to put together, but you may have to use your own tools if the ones provided are too much of a pain to work with. This one was a bit more work than the smaller one I got, but still really easy to assemble by myself in a short amount of time.I'm excited to take it to my parent's house later this week and hang it up in their garage. My kid and I will have to fight over it lolI can't wait to find a place to hang this outside this summer. I absolutely love it!

This round swing is good quality and it can easily hold the weight of my 3 younger nephews and niece at the same time. Adults can use this too if you are within the listed weight limit. This swing requires a bit of patience and time to assemble so I highly recommend doing that beforehand, when you have some open and flat indoor space to build it in. The instructions aren't amazing but it's easy enough to figure out. The hardware provided worked fine and I highly recommend having two people help to hang it up. The fabric it is made from is okay for outdoor use, but I would bring it in during the winter if you live in a snowy place because it would probably collect snow and ice on top of it. Rain dries out quickly enough though, especially in the center. This round swing can be hung from one spinning point if you have that type of hardware available already. Otherwise this swing won't spin because it will have two separate connection points. This is a very fun item and it is well made and sturdier compared to other similar swings we have built.

A really cool addition to the yard! The swing is larger than I anticipated as I considered getting the larger one, but am ultimately glad I went with the smaller size. It’s a little tedious to assemble, but not overtly difficult. The hardest part is getting the foam covered pipes into the canvas housing. Make sure that when you attach the hanging ropes to the body of the saucer that you thread them through the slits in the Velcro flaps. Once assembled it’s very sturdy and easy to hang. It holds a substantial amount of weight and swings around freely. It does not include hardware to attach it to a ceiling, so keep that in mind when purchasing as you’ll need to get some solid hardware to properly hang it.

I am impressed with the quality of this swing. It is very well made and looks great! I can't say that I would try putting 900lbs on it but it should easy hold two or three good sized kids. Assembly was a little bit of a challenge with one person but I got it done. Easy to hang on our swing set and worked with the previous installed hardware.Great for the grandkids and the love to swing on it. They say it is very comfortable. I won't get on it myself because I weigh 285lbs and I am not sure how much weight our swing set can hold. At first adjusting the height took some time but I figured it out too.I think this is a very good value for the quality of the swing and at $40 it's a good deal.

I ordered the "Tree Swing, Saucer Swing 40 Inch for Kids, 900lbs Weight Capacity, with Adjustable Hanging Straps, for Backyard and Outdoor Playground, Yellow-Green."It took awhile to set this up since we didn't have a tree or an old swing set to attach it to. The instructions were easy to follow once we were ready.I added a couple of giant pillows to the back and made it into a nest to curl up in for my morning coffee. I love how comfortable it is, and how they added the foam around the metal ring that attaches to the fabric part.The kids have fun stealing and playing on it, and my son loves the color.This is a high quality saucer that should last us a long time.

The metal frame feels sturdy and solid and I like that it is covered with a soft foam to protect little heads. The yellow-green color looks just like the listing pictures. The fabric and ropes seem nice quality and with a 900 lb weight limit this swing will be fun for the kids and adults.
