Tree Wrap is made of polypropylene fabric and easily conforms to fit any tree shape or bark texture. Tree Wrap slowly photo degrades to prevent girdling of the tree's trunk.

We planted five 2" maples in the spring. During the winter, we didn't wrap any of them. We had to replace 3 of them (the other two survived... but just barely) the following spring due to sunburn and freeze/thaw because of the sun reflecting off of the winter snow. We used the wrap the following year and had zero problems, even under similar winter conditions.The wrap is inexpensive, VERY easy to wrap, and seems to hold up fine to rough winters (and even deer rubs). Much cheaper than replacing the trees. We will use these for at least the first 3 years after planting from now on.

I've repurchased this a couple of times now to use during the wintertime. Does a great job protecting my young fruit trees from sun scald in the winter and from deer that want to eat the tender bark on the trunks.

Easy to use. Instructions simple to follow. Product is very sturdy had to use scissors to cut. Just prepping for hard freeze as we lost all our trees in an unexpected snow with unusually long time staying below freezing in south Texas.

This product works well and is easy to apply to the trees. I’ve used paper wrap in the past but it tends to unravel, this wrap stays in place.

I bought this for use with tanglefoot for my fruit trees. It is a good width at 3 inches but it requires a fair amount of pressure when wrapping to contour to the base, which is needed to ensure ants and other pests can't get past/underneath the barrier. Also, it has no mechanism for self-adherence and required tape to keep the end in place before applying the tanglefoot. Once applied (as noted with pressure and adhesive end), it did the job of holding the tanglefoot in place, which has captured ants, flying insects, and other crawly things, allowing my fruit trees to thrive without infestation!
