This is a must have for pet owners. My vacuum cleaner broke and I needed something quick and easy to use to clean my area rugs it gets the hair easy and I think better than my vacuum cleaner great value good quality I don’t know about other brands but this one is a great choice. Long handle picks up hair easily.

I was as with everything, skeptical as to how this would go through my rug. I bought this to get rid of previous stains and it worked well on the rug, no hassle. It's gentle on the rug and picked up dog/human hair along with other little junk our rug had. I'm happy with my product.

I wouldn't say this thing is easy to use. You have to put some muscle into it, but it really does gather hair well. I have a long-haired dog and this helps to clump up the hair so my vacuum can suck it all up. I think it works best in tandem with a vacuum. The squeegee side does nothing on carpet, but I can see it working on bare floors pretty well.

I bought one of these very similar to this one about 20 years to 25 years ago at a trade show. It held up very well, until my son thought it would be a good idea to break the metal handle. Not exactly the broom's fault, but we loved it so much we wanted another. To be honest I was very leery of this one because of other reviews and the price. However once I received it and tested it, we found the handle to actually be stronger and better than the old one, and the material the broom bristles are made of is exactly the same. The one at the trade show if I'm not mistaken was about $50, and like I say that was 20 to 25 years ago. Considering I only paid 10 bucks for this one, I'll be happy if it only lasts a year or two. But based on the quality I'm seeing so far having used it a few days, I have no reason to think I won't get 10 years or more out of it. If it ever does fail I'll update this, but I really don't expect to have to. Right now this stands as a product I will highly recommend.

I thought this rake would be sufficient strength to lift up my matted, medium-dense, shag carpet. However, this rake is better suited to cleaning a carpet of pet hairs and such. The teeth are too flexible to be of use in unmatting my carpet. I have rolled on the carpet in a heavy power wheelchair so one can imagine how matted and run over it is.

I got this to try and remove pet hair from rugs. It works well. But you get a workout.

Didn't do a before an after... when I started using it I got so excited for how well it was working I just wanted to get it finished. I have a labradoodle... which he doesn't shed "much" however he sheds a little and I would always still find dog hair on the carpet when I was down doing my workouts (more specifically from other dogs I would dog sit) that the vacuum didn't pick up (not sure why)My mom had a carpet rake growing up and it was wooden handle with like a comb looking structure and that's what I was going for. However, I read the other reviews for this and heard some great things.1. you NEED this if you have animals and carpet in your house2. This pulls up hair that you wouldn't imagine is even there.3. Makes your carpet look refreshed more then even a vacuum doesI used this in all my rooms and then used the vacuum to suck up the hair... Even on my bath mats in the bathroom is worked WONDERS!!!If you're considering this GET IT! It will FOR SURE be a workout on its own especially if you have thicker tufted carpet but SO WORTH IT! (p.s. my mom is even getting one since she couldn't find her old one and she has a lab she'll get a lot of use from it)

Silicone bristles very flimsy and breaking off after two uses.

Where have you been all my life? This is what you need when you have shedding pets. I have this rug and it is full of fur all the time. Vacuuming wouldn't get the fur off, but with this you can get it off easily. Love it and it's worth every penny. Works on carpet and also good for laminate to get all the fur.

I recommend this broom for anyone trying to keep on top of pet hair. You’re never going to win the war, but this helps.

This rubber broom came a day early. I've used it already. I bought it for rabbit fur/droppings/hay etc for the area rug we put down for them. It works well, sweeps up all those things and more. I won't have to get the vacuum out as often as it keeps things fairly clean.

We’ve had this for a few weeks now. Cleans stubborn hair off furniture and rugs (better than a vacuum). Good hard surface broom as well

I have had other rubber brooms before.. I find this one has flimsy bristles that are far less effective for removing fur etc.
