Your cart is empty.In the summer of 1996, Tree works Chimes was created by Mitch McMichen. It began in his garage in Nashville, Tennessee. The first set of chimes was made with a hacksaw and a hand drill. It didn't look like much, but that was the first step to crafting The perfect set of chimes. When asked about the early days of Tree Works, Mitch replies, "I wasn't trying to start a company. I was trying to find a sound. " Since then has grown to become the most respected chimes in the Percussion world -- used by top studio and touring drummers and percussionist as well as the top 24 drum corps. These instruments are still handmade in Nashville, Tennessee and are unmatched in craftsmanship and sound quality. (It is of note that Mitch McMichen has earned Gold and platinum records for his recording work in Nashville. ).

I've bought Treeworks products before and there is no issue with quality. Another review stated one cymbals pitch was off. Well... Mine were perfectly matched although a pitch variation of a 3rd would have been nice..2 sizes?Tone is sweet and clear. Ample projection. Harmonics are stable. Price is GREAT. I wouldn't want to take a chance of belly dancer cymbals from "Gwang tung twak" in a concert setting without testing them first. Made in USA.BTW: TreeWorks wind chimes are excellent...Very sturdy, threads haven't broken after years of use. They have several configs, pure titanium.

Product is thinner than a finger cymbal should be.Results in a quiet and inconsistent sound.Worst part is the pitches are pretty far off, so it’s just dissonant, instead of soothing.

The TreeWorks Chimes are okay. They create a simultaneous two-tone effect, however, the tones end up being dissonant. Not my preference for use in an ensemble.

These are just as finger chimes should be, loud and with plenty of sustain. One is pitched slightly different from the other so they will harmonize when struck together. It's nice that they come already strung together because in the past I've had to use a shoe lace to connect a different set of chimes.

Powerful sound but very soothing great during a yoga or meditative state to reset the mind I'm sure. All in all basic to use but very powerful, cheers!
