UPDATE: after posting the original review the seller contacted me quite promptly and they were very happy to replace the remote which was done in a timely manner (thank you Trekassy!) The replacement remote does work (but keep in mind not further than 12-15 feet away). My grandkids visited and loved the swing. The quality is good and I love the colors plus LED lights add to the fun especially after dark. I would highly recommend this product! I think it will get a lot of use when the grandkids visit. A nice addition to our covered back porch. Also, just adding that my husband did replace the top straps for with chains for better durability as we hung it on hooks and not wrapped around a tree limb or swing set. We felt was safest that way.Original Post: Only after the swing was unpackaged and put completely together did we realize the remote for the lights did not work! I messaged the seller-no response. Bummer. Swing is nice though but if something does not work that’s what this review will focus on.

My grand daughters love this swing - easy to put up or take down so it can go where they want it, even on camping trips. The solid base means no legs getting caught so easy on and easy off - and then in the evening they pretend they are on magic carpet with the lights going!

I will admit, I had a moment where I thought I was missing parts...I wasn't, I was just not reading the instructions correctly. It is pretty easy to get together. We have had swings like this before, but never with lights and let me tell you, the lights are awesome!

UPDATE: The company reached out and sent a replacement, as well as provided feedback on what could have caused such quick wear and tear. Based on this, I have increased my rating from a 2 to 4.My daughter loves saucer swings, and spends every day outside. We usually have to replace them every six months because they get so much use. However, she got this one for Christmas and it’s already coming apart. I bought this one, which was more expensive than the ones I usually buy, and it only lasted a third of the time. She’s only 86 lbs, and considering its weight limit is 700lbs, I’m very frustrated. It was easy to put together, and the lights are pretty, but the quality is terrible.

The swing is great. Easy to assemble, sturdy and durable. However, the led light strip comes with a battery pack in a “water proof caseâ€, it does not seal and the first time it rained water got into the battery pack and it broke. I understand that the pack could have maybe been sealed more properly but when my kids play on it and it gets opened (it only closes with Velcro) I’m not going to remember to go out and make sure the bag it closed and set properly for water to get in. If they changed the waterproof storage this may have gotten a higher rating. Now the extra money we spent for the lights on it was a waste since it broke the first time it rained.

Swing of swings !!!! I bought this as a gift for my grandson and he plays on it nonstop and when his friends come over that’s what they wanted to do too . Absolutely one of the best things I’ve ever bought for fun .
