As the kids are getting old enough to start camping (and enjoying it), I was looking to update car camping equipment to transition eventually into backpacking. Since my kids are young, comfort is the top priority, while R value and weight are lower priorities.I spent a long weekend sleeping on this pad and it was GREAT! At 4 inches thick, I never bottomed out. I wore my fit bit and my sleep quality was actually the same or slightly higher than at home (tho a full day of hiking may have been a factor 😅) the pad held air every night, no issues with deflation (and it comes with some patches!)The coldest night was 53° and the pad was more than sufficient at keeping me warm. It has a listed R value of 1.6, so this is really for late spring, summer, early fall camping (which again, is the window with young kids!)If I have 1 criticism. It's the material is slick! Our tent location was on the slightest of inclines, and this pad was slipping on the tent floor and so was my bag on top. I know other pads come with grippers, but they are obviously more expensive and to be honest, if I was on a flat surface, I doubt this would be an issue. This pad is the perfect budget compromise for someone looking for something that is very comfortable and well suited for summer camping either out of a car or for short hikes. The pad is light enough and packs down small enough to be good for short backpacking trips, 1-3 nights, but it is definitely not for ultra-light trips or for nights below 40°. In my opinion, the perfect "starter pad" than can be handed down to the kids as they get their start!

We recently went on a backpacking trip and I purchased this to cushion me while camping. My back isn't as great as it was in my teens and I am also a side sleeper. I had a list of requirements I didn't think could be met at this price tag but based on some reviews in a backpacking group I decided to give it a go.My requirements:SmallLightweightEasy Inflation and Stays InflatedDurableGood for Side sleepersThis sleeping pad performed beyond what I would have expected. Ive tried other more expensive pads and this one outshines them all and at a fraction on the price tag. It kept me off the ground and well insulated, stayed inflated and was easy to set up and tear down. The bonus here is my husband is a large man. He is 6'7 and about 230lbs. He has resigned himself to sleeping on the ground as he has not found anything that fits his giant-ness. I tested the pad out on my living room floor before we left to make sure I wasn't going to wake up hurting the next day. My husband was there when I inflated and checked it out for the first time and was curious as to if it would hold him and be long enough. He was able to lay his full length on it and not hang over the edge! He gets disappointed a lot as he has a hard time finding products that work for him. His eyes lit up that he could lay out fully on the pad and not hang off the edge. He instantly had me order another for him.On our trip they performed beautifully. One note to make is to inflate, allow it to chill for a bit and then give it a few breaths before bed for max inflation. We slept well, felt well rested and comfortable for the whole 9 day trip. 3 others in our group are now buying this pad based off of my leap of faith and my father and brother ordered them for their 4 corners ride.Pros:LightweightEasily packable down to the size of my handEasily inflatedGreat for Side sleeper and giants alikePrice pointCons:If you can call it one, an extra breath or 2 after initial inflation before bed.
Looks great!!!

K so I gave this item a 4 because I have yet to take it camping and can't judge it completely. I was turned on to this because of a youtuber named dose of dirt. I'm not affiliated at all. He reviewed many different types of sleeping pads and for the price I couldn't pass it up. Below is my observation. This is a summer pad. Do not try to use this during winter. You will freeze! Low R rating. It's pretty comfortable for a cheap pad. Surprisingly actually.Very lightweight and compacts very small. I did not expect the size when it came in the mail. Comes with a cool elastic band to keep it rolled tight inside the stuff sac. This is a 6ft by 21inch pad.3.5inchs off the ground inflated.Deflated and in bag:7inch tall, 5 inches wideMaterial is pleasant to lay on without any cover on it.So far has stayed inflated for a couple of days with air in it. No leaks. For the price, I can't complain. Are there better pads out there on the market? Yes! Better R rating, durability, comfort etc.? Absolutely. For this price though.. you won't find it.This is a great find and I think you will be happy you bought it.

Next to go pad for warm weather trips. Not the lightest option but worth the extra weight if you value your sleep when backpacking. At 40$ this is very good option either for car campers or backpackers not minding a little extra weight- Pad is incredibly comfortable, so far the best I used, even better than my Big Agnes comparable pad sizes. Good option for side sleepers- Scale weight including stuff sack and rubber band is 670g, which is way less than 750g advertised- Temperature rating: I am warm sleeper and used it in mid-upper 50F in wet conditions on last trip and did not feel cold. Perform well for both condition. I don't think I would take it below the 50F, but that's exactly what it is designed for, warmer temperatures- Durability: Don't have enough data to say much about durability although it looks way more resistant than Big Agnes AXL Air- Ease of inflation: What you can expect from a thick pad, it takes some effort. I guess the inflation bag can help- Deflation is quick given the valve design. Storage size is not the smallest but not bad at all. I like the fact it comes with a rubber band, so you can save weight by not using storage bag- Color is a bit boring, I prefer bright color pads

Polecam

Arrived fast in new condition. I bought this for 2 reasons 1) my Exped insulated mattress is too warm and bulky for summer camping 2) I'm a big guy 6"3" 290 lbs....I immediately unpacked and inflated this in 30 puffs (not a strain) The one-way inflation valve works flawlessly....pumped it up form and spent the afternoon in it in my hammock....no air loss in 5 hrs, very comfortable...I will be able to use this in the hammock (it fits a double size hammock with room to spare, and in my hoop bivy, where I expect I will never feel the ground even when I side-sleep.........deflates and stows small and light.....will report in late fall how the durability, reliability were....for the price it's a bargain....*** UPDATE: I have now used this on 6 camp/hike treks and it worked flawlessly , never leaked a bit and gave me a great nights sleep...I'm buying another for the wife and for back up...great value and performance.
