Trident’s Florida Lobster Measurement Gauge, Aluminum, 3 inch makes it easy to ensure you remain in compliance with Florida Department of Fish and Wildlife regulations for lobster harvest.
Florida regulations state “No person shall harvest or attempt to harvest spiny lobster by diving unless they possess, while in the water, a gauge for measuring lobster...Lobster carapace must be greater than three (3) inches to be harvested or possessed.”
This gauge has a center cutout section measuring exactly 3 inches, so you can tell at a glance whether or not your catch is within legal limits.
Constructed of corrosion-resistant aluminum, with a generous hole punched at one corner for stringing onto a lanyard or attaching to a clip so it will always be handy.

The Florida Lobster has to have a 3 inch carapace for them to be legal. Most other Gushes are over 3 inches (junk) . Not this guage it's precisely 3 inches. Last year I procrastinated and wanted more they were sold out with a longer delivery date. Now I’m equipped and ready to go. Great product!!

This gauge is more accurate than the one from my local dive shop. Solid material that has correct measure, check one one you have now and you may be surprised that it is too big, so, the Florida Keys lobster that are on the edge of legal bowed an accurate gauge like this one.

Perfect for measuring a Florida spiny lobsters. Once I received the measuring gauge i measured it with a calibrated set of calipers and they measured exactly 3.00â€, can’t get better than that!
