It went on the tank with no problem and then the tank was stored on its side. When I pulled the tank out after three months, the boot was spilt.

I purchased two boots for scuba tanks, blue and green. I installed both boots about a month ago. The tanks have just been sitting in my garage waiting for calmer seas to go diving. My garage temperature fluctuates between 75-90 degrees, so temperature should not have been a factor The other day I noticed that the green tanks had split. Blue tank is still OK at this point.
