The first one I bought one of these was in 1999 and it still works to protect computers, television, audio systems from surges, transients, over and under voltage output using buck and boost circuitry. Those with high end current hungry audio amplifiers will appreciate the four 20 amp outlet some of these components crave plus the isolation.Drawback is the audible hum in very quiet rooms. If placed on hard platforms, reduction can be achieves by using rubber underneath the conditioner to attenuate. No it does nor have coax or Ethernet inputs and outputs features (surge protection). So far none of the devices connected ever quit working therefore it performed beyond expectation considering other protectors bought around the same time expired a while back.

5 Stars BUT..... The way it was shipped needs a major improvement. It is a very heavy item. It was shipped in the original manufacturing box. Very little protection and arrived damaged (looks like it was dropped). The tab for mounting to the rack was bent. The device works very well. I ended up bending the side back (with difficulty) and was able to get it installed. I did not have the time to return the product unless it didn't work after install. Amazon over packs everything except in this case a very expensive, fragile, electronic item was left naked.02-04-17 Update - Today this unit paid for itself!!! We were having fluctuations in power this morning in the house. Two weeks ago we dropped one leg of power to the house which had been fixed. Today's event was the opposite side of the house (including outlets that the line conditioner was plugged into). The unit was indicating "very low" input. The electric company was out and confirmed we had dropped the second leg. Temporary power was run to our house from the neighbors and this unit indicated "normal". As I said, it just paid for itself today. I will be buying a second one to cover the balance of my electronics. I still maintain the 5 stars.

Before getting this, my UPS would constantly be triggered for the smallest of power fluctuations. I don't know what causes it still... Power company? Solar panels? I don't know but I do know that since I installed this line conditioner, my UPS is not setting off any alarms.Just a bit more info: all the UPS triggers or maybe just age but it got to the point where I had to switch around my UPSs and eventually just changed out the battery. Back to normal with this line conditioner inline. I don't think this particular UPS is more than a year old but I had to switch out its battery to work properly again. The UPS with the line conditioner is about 2-3 years old and works fine....

I have had great experiences with the Tripp Lite products in the past, I love their Isobar surge protectors and their range of power products in general are alway pretty good. This seemed like a safe bet. The unit is solid, well built with a convenient number of outlets at a fair price but, it hums very loudly. I use it in a home studio rack and I can clearly hear it from across the room. If you're not bothered by the noise it could work for you, but it's not ideal for AV or studio uses in my opinion.

This unit appears to be built well and probably performs well. It emits a 60Hz hum which can be clearly heard in the room. If you can install this in an equipment closet separate from your home theater or home studio, it should be fine. Just not in the same room.

The product works great. I would recommend using it with an UPS to smooth out the transitions between the times it switches voltage steps. I was using it at a concert powered by a generator. The stage lighting changes caused voltage drops and this unit kept up with the voltage changes just fine.

Did not get what I was expected to get from a dirty generator power.

This is built like a brick. I perceive that it offers decent and reliable protection, at a good price, for my sensitive electronic equipment, fed by a 20a line. If you are reading these reviews, and considering an application involving music recording and high quality home theater, you will have read about the "hum". The TL company claims that it does not exist, and are willing to exchange any huming device for another or repair if you have a hum. No, I do not intend to send this back to TL. I perceive that it is working as it was intended and designed. But there is a hum. How serious is the hum? If you are using very high quality home theater, perhaps an issue, but probably now an issue as long as there is sound playing If you are recording music with good quality mics and preamps, and a very clean signal, then maybe an issue. If you are very sensitive for low level electric transformer type hum, then maybe an issue. For me, I think that I can accept this. For me, quality protection at a reasonable price. I wish however that the company would just admit that this is a hum, and stop denying this! I also wish that the hum were not there.

Perfect as expected and the humming sound is not and issue since the LCR 2400 is more quiet than the LC1200...

Random nut rattling around inside. Glad i found it prior to turning on as it could have caused a short circuit. Opening it uncovered mostly aluminum wiring inside. Audible hum. Have yet to see/hear it correct any voltage fluctuations.
