it's a quality-built filler neck. Easy to install. And lastly will fit 2500hd too. So, if your 2007 to 2012 or 2013 2500hd gas motor truck has a leak in the filler neck. this will work for you.Again, this review brough to you by Mr. K

Really nothing negative to say about the part. Fit the original gas cap just fine. Was otherwise indistinguishable from the original in fit.The tubes are 0.75" and 1.5" and so you will likely need suitable replacement worm clamps because you'll be cutting away the existing 20 year old clamps to get the fill tube free.Similarly you are likely to shear at least one of the mounting screws when removing the original. Suggest that before install, run one of the screws into the holes on the new one to pre-thread them otherwise you will need a second set of hands to hold the fill neck from inside the fender. Have care tightening because with 20 years of rust and the edge of the screw thread getting worn down the reused screws will hold poorly.It would have been nice for TRQ to include new clamps and mounting screw hardware - would differentiate them from all the rest of the sellers of the similar part.

I bought a cheaper brand 4 years ago and it already cracked and needed replaced. I've had great luck with other TRQ parts, and this filler neck feels like it is much better quality than the last one I used. Only minor complaint ...the bottom clamp is too small, it would not fit over the tank outlet, not a big deal I just used the old clamp. This is the only reason I gave 4 rsther than 5 stars. Fit perfectly, holes all lined up, gas cap fits perfectly .... most importantly the quality feels much better so I should not have to replace this one in less than 4 years like the el cheapo I bought last time. If TRQ can just include a slightly bigger clamp this would be an easy 5 star home run.

I set out to replace three heavily rusted fuel system components on my 03 Jeep Wrangler 4.0: the fuel tank skid plate, the straps, and the filler neck. Once everything was reassembled, I could only get the gas pump nozzle to trickle the fuel in at a very slow rate or else the nozzle would shut off.Thinking that I had done something wrong over the course of the project, I devoted several weekends to removing and reinstalling my gas tank and troubleshooting the problem. I did not suspect that TRQ's metal tube was so poorly made that you cannot actually pump gas though it.When I swapped in a used MOPAR filler neck, the problem was fixed.When you compare the TRQ and MOPAR filler necks side by side, it is easy to see how TRQ cut manufacturing costs at the expense of the product actually working. The crude, welded, angular taper of the TRQ tube splashes fuel back into the venturi opening, causing the pump to shut off.The overall rating of this defective product will never reflect it's quality because 140 different parts are sold on this same page as different colors of the same product. This is how companies defeat the Amazon review system and manage to hide their defective products amongst many other different products that may actually work. This is much easier and cheaper than correcting flaws in a defective product.The product is past it's return window, so I ran it over with a 33†tire and threw it in a scrap heap. I don't even care about the money. I want all my time back... the weekends spent troubleshooting and thinking that I had done something wrong and damaged my TJ's fuel system.I hate TRQ.

As the title says, the part fit fine but the factory cap does not completely fit, the cap only screws in partial. Oh well it's diesel so no worry about getting a Evap system failure code.
