I used this to fill in sights on CZ, it was a little tricky to get a good fill but once I figured it out it came out well. I wish the colors were brighter. I used green and orange. I was hoping for more of an eye catching high visibility effect, but it still gets the job done.

This is an awesome, low budget, product for improving my sights. After watching ‘how to videos’ and taking the time to apply the paint properly, the outcome was great. It looks like it was meant to be vs some after thought. I was tossing around the idea of purchasing more expensive sights for my M&P Shield but it didn’t make sense given that it’s a conceal carry weapon and not a competition weapon where another $100+ on sights couldn’t be justified - at least for me. I’ll send a few hundred rounds down range and will see how they hold up over time. I suspect that they’ll be fine as the paint is think and hardened well in the sight pockets. For now, I’m very pleased and have SO much paint that I can do a case of pistols for friends, family, friends of friends, aquaintances and more. For the value A+.

These paints are going right back for a refund. Even when mixed well, the consistency is a combination of watery and lumpy. The paint will not adhere to metal, and what little does stick looks terrible. The luminescent colors are all weak, almost pastel-like in tone. Perhaps the paint is just old and past its shelf life, but it's unacceptable never the less. Back to the good old Testors enamel.

I used this product to improve the sights on several firearms: Heritage Rough Rider .22, Zastava M70 .32; Ruger LCR .22; Ruger SP101 .357; M&P Shield 9mm and M&P Gen1 9mm and a cheap shotgun. I cleaned all the sights with the provided cleaner (which smelled just like window cleaner) and attempted to use a variety of techniques to apply the product to the sights on the above guns. The easiest were the M&P's as they have concave dot sights and using a toothpick (as recommended) worked well as you can just fill up the little dots. But, on the others, it was difficult to get the product to stick to the metal or plastic front posts or the rear apertures. My better half is an artist/painter and has a wide variety of very small paint brushes. The best method that worked was to actually scrape the product off of the brush or toothpick onto the sight and then hold it so it flowed down and coated the sight where I wanted it. Even then, it took 2-3 applications to build up enough of the product to see clearly enough for me to consider the sight picture to be 'improved'. I'll just buy more cheap nail polish the next time.

First of all the colors are bright. If you use them on your gun sights and you shoot in bright light conditions they help highlight your sights.Of the six colors, three of them "glow" in the dark while they are in the original containers; however, once applied to your sights they do not "glow" at all. So if you were hoping to modify your sights into usable night sights you will be greatly disappointed. And, if you were even hoping to convert your sights into usable low-light condition sights, you will still be disappointed. As I said at the beginning of this review if you plan to only shoot in bright light conditions then the paint can help to highlight your sights. It won't highlight them a lot; but, it will highlight them some what. My advise is save your money and put it toward buying a high quality set of sights.

Cleaned sight with alcohol swab and sanded with 600 grit. Did at least 4 coats. No glow and paint (thankfully) peals off easily after 24 hours dry time. Bought a tube of white acrylic at dollar store ...way better and stays on.
