I am very pleased with this kit. I purchased the heavy raw brass kit for my Yamaha Xeno 8335. The fit was perfect out of the box. The feel of these on the horn was an immediate improvement over an already solid trumpet. The sound I get out of these after just a few minutes on the horn is night and day different. So much warmth and dynamic range I am not sure what I will do. They also look stunning on the horn. I went with a contrast to the silver plated horn and could not be happier with how they look.

Got this for Christmas last year, and haven't taken them off since. The boosters are easily put on and taken off, and catch the eyes of many. As for my sound, it's much more powerful and adds greatly to the tone. Being able to push the valves down so effortlessly makes fast passages an absolute breeze. I would definitely recommend these to anyone who wants to add some pizzaz to their sound. -Jared (his son)

Okay, I know I’m being a little picky about this, but I did just drop a lot of money on this kit. The valve caps click and clunk on the trumpet. It’s kinda loud, but when playing it’s not too noticeable. Anyways, when I bought this originally, I was a little nervous because my Yamaha is 51 years old; made in 1972. But it surprisingly fits pretty snug, and looks amazing and sounds even better. So yeah, 4 stars cuz of the clacking, but great quality overall
