If your pup loves to sit and squeak toys this is a must have!!! I'm a student living in an apartment and my dog loves to sit and squeak toys for hours on end. I was about to lose my mind until I found this. It's silent to me but has a squeak he loves just like any other toy. It has lasted about six months of moderate play. It's not indestructible but the design and shape makes it harder to shred.

The squeaker is silent so that is really fun but beware if you dog easily destroys toys this isn't for you unless you enjoy watching them destroy something in about 5 min lol.

We have a mixed breed, out "baby" Cassie is a mix of chihuahua, dachshund and Boston terrier. The size of a small terrier. She has torn up most of her toys, loves to chase balls and play tug of war with her unstuffed critters and ball ropes. But, it has been a while she had a new toy so I ordered her this one due it not having a squeaker that I can't stand. This one is one that has a sound only she (or other dogs) can hear.At first, she sniffed it and backed up, not sure. I let her look it over, she sniffed it more and showed interest and stepped away, but didn't leave. Tossed it and she ran to it. The material gives me the impression of something knitted, but isn't. Very tight, not lose so she can grab it easy.A few minutes later she was checking it out again and I tossed it for her, she grabbed it and mouthed it, and then layed down and did some chewing.Later, when I went into the sewing room, I took it with me and she followed, tossed it and she chashed after it and played with it. Now, she will get it and chew, shake it and wanted to play tug of war with it.I think she is very happy with it and glad I bought it for her. She is five years old and when we lose her it will hurt a lot. I still cry when I think of O'be, my Sheltie, that died over 15 years ago, he was 14 years old. I have never been without a dog, two or even more and it still hurts to lose them from old age.Anyhow, this had been a good toy for her, we, hubby and I will get her a couple more for Christmas.I would recommend this toy for anyone whose dog is a chewier and loves to chase a toy, brings it back and plays tug of war with you.

The whale is the best stuffie there is. It was my lab pup's first toy when I got her at 2 months. She chews up and tries to eat everything. After 6 months I cut off the fin and got another month out of it. Then I cut off one flipper and it lasted another month. Then I ordered my second whale. The material is soft and slick, so no fuzz or loose pieces of material that can be chewed off and eaten. (She had about 12 toys when I got her, and all but this one was destroyed within a couple of months.) The material is also backed with a rubbery? layer, so no raveling when appendages are cut off! The seams are incredibly strong. She takes the whale into her kennel each night, and a couple of times a day when needed. She makes sure to get whale out during the day, and chews on it happily.

I cannot accurately explain how amazing this toy is! There’s no annoying squeak, but I can tell that she hears it because her ears perk up when I squeeze it and all I hear is a muffled whoosh of air, but she gets so excited! She takes it into whatever room in which we are spending the most time - the office on weekdays and downstairs in the living room on weekends and holidays. She keeps it close always. She doesn’t fetch most toys, but this toy she always brings back because she loves the chasing and the sound it makes. I’ve never seen a more durable toy. I paid less than $10, and the price went down to $5 before Christmas and I considered buying another for backup and also for gifts, but the stock ran out before I decided to purchase again. I doubt I will need one as a backup, because the fabric is so sturdy and it is sewn with intensive reinforced seams that I can’t see her chewing through even though she destroys most plush toys. But she loves this toy so much, I don’t think she would chew it up. It is so adorable! Most silent squeaker toys are really ugly, or they are not as sturdy. I bought her a different toy for Christmas and it didn’t last much longer than 24 hours before a leg got torn off. Amazon says they are out of stock, and I really hope they get more in stock, because every dog owner should own this toy, especially if they work from home or get migraines from loud high pitch squeaks like me. I cannot recommend this toy highly enough! Buy it as soon as it is back in stock with no hesitation!

My dog loves this toy! It's very soft, relatively easy to clean, and best of all... Quiet! The underlying fabric holds up well to her nibbling on it however the stitching has gotten worse over the years. This most recent one you can see isn't even stitched all the way up :(@Trustypup please get your quality control back onboard!

I have a large black lab Shepard mix that is 11 months old. I was excited about this toy because it was tough and meant for large dogs. I was disappointed when it arrived. It was maybe 12†but I tried it anyways. Well 10 min later there were holes in the fins already. This would be better for a very small dog.

Was excited to find silent dog toy. We have another brand last for years. This one lasted really truly 10 minutes. This is for a 10lb dog

Super buen producto!

Don't think the squeaker works but my dog still plays with it sometimes.
