I couldn't pass up trying these knee pads out for the price.Pros: Inexpensive for the quality you get. The quality is almost on par with a pair of Timberland Pros I use that cost three times as much. Close to the same density in both sets. TP's are slightly denser.Cons: My only gripe is that unlike the Timberland Pros these are not molded or cut to conform with the shape of your knee. This is most noticeable when standing or walking. Once you're kneeling they conform just fine. I did not feel them bind or shift at all, and was able to remain kneeling for long periods with these inserted.I may trim the top corners just to make them sit in the pocket a little nicer. All in all. Well worth the price, and I would buy them again.

Excellent for the 5.11 pants that i personally love to wear, wanted some inserts and came across these and decided to give them a go. Firstly they do their job and after using them you barely notice them and excellent comfort. Only downside they are stiff and not very breathable causing my knee areas to feel sweaty. It may be the pants i use and the thickness as well but breathability would help a lot. They fit perfectly inside the double knee used by my 5.11 pants and the different styles of 5.11 pants i have. Like i mentioned earlier they are stiff as a board and you can see it they may need some time to break in or something but aside from that they work excellent as knee inserts for 5.11 pants!

I enjoy these knee pads I believe they’re better than the carhartt because they’re thicker yes they are tough to get into the pants but it’s worth the trouble and they’re 20 bucks cheaper

These are nice and thick, providing alot of padding, but...they are not very flexible and thus don't conform to the knee in the knee pocket of tactical pants. They also seem to be of solid closed cell foam so there's no ventilation. Probably ok if you're on your knees alot during the day, like a roofer or installing flooring, but not ideal for tactical operations.

Seem to protect the knee. Haven’t noticed them trying to stay compressed. Have washed my pants with them in several times with no problems. They do crate alittle bit of rub on the knee while walking. I would only use them in loose fitting pants.

I shoved them into some "Wrangler Riggs Workwear Men's Ranger Pants", with the double fronts. A bear to get in there, but I did manage it.Generally they stay in place (the pants are not tight) and are in position when I kneel down. Sometimes you need a slight adjustment to get it all lined up. Not all the protection a guy might ever need - But for general use, they are sweet. A little warm (in already warm pants). When you walk in them, the pads stay just below the knee so as not to interfere with walking. They are bulky. They make it tougher to wash your pants as the pads float. But you wash and dry just like normal. In the dresser draw they are hard to handle as they take up plenty of space!!I guess if I worked more on my knees I'd consider additional pairs - Which brings up a major issue - They are not cheap! Unless you have 5 pairs, you may still need a traditional pair to put on the outside of your pants. 5 pairs are much more money than a good traditional pair (with no added laundry BS and your work pants will fit in your drawer). So, even though I have 5 pairs of double fronted pants, I only bought one pair of these and those pants are not getting worn as often as pants with out the padding in the knees. It would be better to have a flannel pocket sewn inside the pant leg - It would be softer on your knees and you could swap 'em out at will...OK product, a little expensive, not all that practical for me.

Super nicely padded, super durable, and not overly priced. Nice a large surface area covered by these, not like other tiny knee pads

They do protect against hard floors when kneeling and, unlike the carpet underlay I've been using in my Carhartt knee pockets for a while (true story), I'm happy to wash and dry them. But they're comedically small: half the height of the knee pockets, and about two thirds the width. So they don't really feel like they're reliably positioned. The search continues...

Was looking for knee pads for my unlined carhartt womens overalls, and was surprised at the price of them in retail stores. I didn't want to pay a lot for my first time buying knee pad inserts (incase I didn't like using them at work). These were a very great price for two, and I fit them into my carhartts. I just had to fold and wiggle them back and forth to get them in. Probably wouldn't be able to get them out without a struggle though. They've also been through the washer and dryer multiple times inside my coveralls and held up well and no issues.I'm glad I didn't buy expensive ones and will be buying these for my winter overalls.

Edit: they lose a star for going from $15 to $40I'm an electrician and wear these in my Carhartt pants. Over the years, I've tried many kneepad inserts and none of them compare to these. Other ones thin over time, are too soft, and quickly wear holes in Carhartts. I've had these for 6 months now and they are just as comfortable as the day I got them, and my pants show very little wear. They are also easily the most comfortable that I've tried. I'll be sticking to these from now on.

For the price they are a excellent choice of pads they slipped quite nicely into my cat h20 pants and do exactly what they are intended to do, protect your knees. 10/10 would recommend.
