I'm in a millwright apprenticeship working with guys who have been doing chain break work with a screwdriver and needle nose pliers for 20+ years. One of them brought this to my attention after I struggled practicing their way.One of them ordered one as well as mine and initially we struggled with thus tool but after a few master placement and removals they really enjoyed the tool. I struggled trying to identify the post vs open side so one of them painted my post side of the pliers green. That works really well for me especially in dark areas. Now, 4-5 have been bought and everyone enjoys using this tool so I'd say it's highly recommended and a good buy. This tool can be used horizontally and vertically and both ways work well. The tool is durable and and can grip on all pieces of a master during placement.

Haven’t used it for the intended purpose yet, it works great as hose clamp pliers. I love the blue grips from Tsunoda very similar to knipex and I would prefer all my vinyl grip pliers to have these. If there was just a hint more of cushion I dare say these grips would rival snap-on. I have yet to have any issues with Tsunoda pliers I have about 7 or so. If you ever need to grip something weird these are miracle pliers.

Great value for a tool that is well made and precisely machined.

This simple tool makes dealing with those fiddly quick link clips just plain easy. Attaches, removes, almost effortless by comparison to trying to use regular pliers for this. If you have to work with roller chain, get these.

WAY AWESOME 😃ðŸ‘ðŸ»... I never knew these tool existed until I saw these on Amazon . I got this smaller version to fit in my bike's tool bag . Go karts and many MINIBIKES use a smaller size #35 chain . A real pain in my butt trying to remove and install the master link with a screwdriver and a pair of needle nose pliers .Size 35 chain is so tiny but tool worked perfectly . Even tried it on a size 420 chain on a Coleman minibike . Save yourself a lot of aggravation and just buy these . I'm buying a second pair just to have one always in my tool chest ..... . They are that awesome . Seller was super duper FAST . ðŸ‘ðŸ»ðŸ™ƒ Only odd thing is that the package says "WARNING" in American , while everything after that is in Japanese or Chinese or sushi or something like that . Hell, I can't read it 🤷ðŸ¿â€â™‚ï¸.

Best tool for chain work. Makes life so much easier and I no longer stab my fingers trying to repair chains with screwdrivers and needle nose pliers.

As the title says limited use but make getting those small clips off the size chain they are designed to work very easy and putting them back on very easy. Glad I bought them if you work with 40 chain or smaller you will be glad you bought them.

I was blown away by the quality of these pliers. They work as intended and are hassle free. If I lose these, I won’t hesitate to order another set. Phenomenal.
