I bought these to file away support stubs from 3D printed parts in plastic, and for that they work fine. I have used them on very soft metals, like zinc, and they are ok for that. I doubt they would hold up long on any metal of moderate hardness. If I had intended them to be used on mid-hardness steel or harder the rating would go down, but they are OK for how I use them.Not a tremendously aggressive cut, but that's what I was after. They leave a pretty good finish on plastic parts.One could quibble about whether the term "diemaker's" in the name is misleading or simply descriptive. For light work on not hard material = fine. As actual diemakers files I would have to give them a 1 or 2 star rating.

the tools are cheap quality. and the value I think a different from quality relations. I think the tools work for wood and It for me it's ok

These are cheap. And crude. Not worth the low price. I had used Japanese rifflers before. These are a FAR CRY from quality files. I won’t buy these again. In fact if offered for free I wouldn’t want them.

Product works well on wood. Not an aggressive riffles. Good to get wood smooth

Teeth show shiny spots from handling during manufacture. One file end was bent at a right angle before heat treating and the pocket sleeve for the set was unusable because it was shrink onto the rifflers and needed to be cut off to get them out. The corners of the profile are to blunt to work a sharp corner.
