I bought this lock because I have teenagers that think my room and my belongings inside it are community property. I don’t know how it does as an outdoor lock, but as far as a bedroom lock it’s fantastic. If someone really needs in my room I can send them a code to let them in. You can do Permanent or one-time codes. The remote lock/unlock feature has never worked from outside the house, but you can create a code and send instead. The remote lock works excellent inside the house though. I have mine set up to my thumb print so it’s super fast and easy for me to enter. Absolutely excellent lock for parents with teenagers that have zero respect for your personal belongings🤣😂

When I bought this lock I thought it was great. Reasonable price, and lots of functionality. THe fingerprint usually worked, and the software on the mobile app is good. But then I tried to use the kepad and I had no success. I had 2 of these locks installed, so I tried the kepad on both locks. Only about 1 out of 10 times did the keypad work. I wrote to customer support in China, but they did not write back with anything except a question "Are you using the appp?", which was useless. And there is no live customer service available. So I will be going with another brand!

I am a tech guy- this thing is the real deal- it is made so well out of metal- the app is amazing- easy to use yet super powerful (especially if you have more than one installation). The app seems to have been made by people who understand English! Fit my existing door handles with no modification. They also respond lightning fast- I barely notice a difference from a regular dumb unlocked handle.

First off charge your door and make sure you have 4 AA batteries. And while charging input your code and at least one fingerprint. (Because if you accidentally close the door while in the process it will be a problem.) Now watching the video that was provided made this look so simple but I don’t have those kind of holes in my door. So I went to Home Depot and bought a cover for my bottom lock. Then while installing the video mentioned placing a pin/ wire into something. I never received It so I found a small nail and it worked perfectly! Now I also have a metal door and these screws provided didn’t go into the door until started a hole. Once that was done everything fell into place. The kids fingerprints work. It’s so much easier to get in the house. And being a newly single mom I’m like knowing that my door will lock right behind me. That I don’t have hidden keys outside because I can do a one time code to let you in. That my kids lost key can get into the wrong hands. So I would buy this again now that I know what to expect.

Watch the video. It works GREAT. The fingerprint reader is spot on. Hopefully it will continue to work as it does so far because I would highly recommend this. Also I searched for indoor/outdoor and did not see much in the reviews. I installed this on an outdoor door.I will update in a bit as to how it holds up.For now, 5 STARS

I live in Wisconsin. Loved this lock until recently. This last week it has been cold and I noticed the door wasn't locking. When leaving for work, I didn't notice that the door didn't shut completely because of the cold. This resulted in both of our dogs getting out. Luckily we have air tags on our dogs, but we live on an extremely busy road, so they could have gotten hit. Plus it was soo cold out that they could have died from the cold if we didn't have the air tags. After this situation, I analyzed the door more, noticing it isn't locking. Even after changing the batteries it still doesnt lock. Which is scary having dogs and for our safety.

Installed about 2 weeks ago, working good straight after software set-up. Very good fingerprint detecting. Happy so far.
