I’ve never tried the name brand of this because I couldn’t really justify spending $20 on an elastic band, but these work perfectly! Great price and so easy to use.

I am an avid thrifter and love the look for a vintage sweater but hate how baggy they would be. Normally I would cut the shirt to shorten it but with knit materials it doesn't work. I would always tuck my shirt into my bra or tie it up in the back leaving a bunched up messy look. This is perfect for an even cropped look with any oversized shirt and a must have for anyone who loves a vintage piece. I doubled the wearability of my closet since I can now have a cropped and baggy fit for my clothes.

Had the plastic end piece on one of the tails pop off upon my very first attempt to use the product, and with little to no force applied. Terrible quality, terrible value, and just a terrible waste of money. I wish I could give it zero stars.

I like that this helps my shirts/sweaters become crop tops but one came broken (the piece/clasp that holds the string together) and then a second one broke while i was tighting it.. so now I have two that have the string dangling. Still works, just gotta tuck the string in well so it doesn't show. It is very stretchy and comfy, but I wouldn't buy again.
