9 year old daughter: “Daddy, I want a horseâ€.Me: “Ok, but just a little one…ok? Like a mini…â€I thought a little horse would mean littler money. BOY WAS I WRONG.Little did I know you would need a barn, hay (did you know they eat EVERYDAY?), cart, harnesses, tack, horse trailer and show clothing for the daughter. Just when I forked just about everything I owned over, I discovered you need breeches. What are breeches? Isn’t that what the police do to enter the homes of drug dealers or Methican Americans?OK, we order breeches.These are some nice breeches. Not high end but middle-of-the-road breeches. Being 9, I knew more breeches were in our future as the growth fairy has visited often. Fit was good. We ordered a size 10 and they fit perfectly with a couple more years of room left. I would perhaps suggest ordering a size up to accommodate “normal†builds. My daughter is 46†tall & skinny as a rail so I don’t know if 10 would have fit if she had some typical weight on her. She has some sensory issues but these did not seem to bother her.Long story short: The fit was good, the quality was nice and the pricing was better than a lot of others available. But they are a good bang-for-the-buck especially when they’ll outgrow them in a year or two.Give them a try!

The breeches are as expected. I think they run a little bit small. My daughter normally wears a 12 and we bought a 14. They fit just fine. There is a decorative button, but they are pull on. She says they are comfortable and did just fine when riding with them on. I would order these again. They are soft and washed nicely.

Bought these for my niece that stayed with us for the summer. We signed her up for riding lessons. She is very petite and I ordered the size her mother suggested. They were just slightly small but fit for the summer. She loves them but will probably not fit by October. Good quality!

Very well made and great quality for the price! Slightly small or I would have given 5 stars. Other than that, they are great and my daughter chooses them over all of her other riding pants despite the slight struggle to get them on being a bit snug. Once on, she tells me they are very comfy. Order one size up unless your child is at the smaller end of the fitted size indicated.

My daughter (10) adores these pants. The smooth stretchy ankle makes these perfect for tall boots. Some pants bunch up and leave a wad of fabric digging into your ankle but these are made perfectly as to prevent that. They look very nice for show. Have a good stretch and they don’t seem to fall down throughout the day.

These are very thick and durable riding pants. True to size but do run slim. My daughter enjoys them- she’s 9.5 years old and tall so she’s in a size 12/14

My daughter is a size 10 but I ordered two sizes up. I order a12 its a little bit big but I know she will outgrow it she says it’s soft and really comfortable. I believe they do run a little bit small.

good quality, but unfortunately, these run a bit small. My daughter is by no means overweight, but these pants are tight on her legs. I did buy them one size bigger than her normal size. This may be ok during cooler months, but in the hotter months, they are too uncomfortablly tight. We live in West Africa so she won't wear them here. In the summer, she goes to horse camp in Europe, where it is also usually warm/hot. I am not sure she will get much use out of these pants, unfortunately.

Thanks to the previous reviews I bought a size bigger for my 10 year old (wearing size 10-12) so they fit her longer. I bought size 14 even though she doesn’t wear 14 in any other brand or clothing company. She’s a slim size 10, but I buy her 12 for height/length, so buying size 14 was unusual

Cuando compré el pantalón la descripción decÃa que era para niño, el ticket en el paquete dice que es para niña y el tamaño es para niña. Y no para niño como decÃa cuando lo ordene.

Bought for my 8 year old granddaughter. Wash and wear no problem. Size 8 fit perfectly.
