If you actually measure yourself and compare it to the size guide, you will get a perfect fit! It’s also good quality for the price. They look fantastic - tight but not too tight, with front & back pockets no less. I will certainly buy them again in their other color options!

My dad has been wearing english field boots under his jeans because none of his cowboy boots (including Ariat) fit safely in his english/western stirrups. (Tho we did outfit his usual saddle with oversized western stirrups!).Anyway, it's a hilarious look but I couldn't handle it anymore so I bought him sz42 breeches because that's the size he usually wears in jeans.The color is nice and the fabric is good quality and thick, like you'd expect. They don't fit skin-tight on him (which was the goal!) and that's great because nobody is asking for that LOL. They're loose enough that he seems comfortable with the idea of wearing them so that's a win! If you do want the skin-tight look that's popular with women's breeches, then I'd recommend sizing down from your usual jean size (unless you typically wear tight jeans already and therefore probably have a smaller size, which my father does not).

These were delivered hurriedly to my home in order to replace my old pair of ripped breeches. They arrived hours before a lesson so I was able to ride in them right away and I have to say these are SO comfortable to wear, they're almost like regular pants. The pockets are huge, and the buttons are out of he way enough that it doesn't poke you in the saddle. The fabric is tight, but not too tight like women's breeches seem to be which gives you room to sweat a little and not feel like you're contstricted and it's not hard to pull them off. Though I'd have to say the bottom part of the pantleg is a little tight and somewhat hard to pull off if you don't do it right. Other than that I'd have to say these get 5 stars and then some. Would order again!

I bought these pants after my new riding instructor said I shouldn’t wear jeans anymore. I have been riding exclusively Western Pleasure for 10 years and have never ridden English. As soon as I wore these pants, I was told I had to ride English!! So I was forced to take an English lesson and unfortunately loved it. So now I have to learn a whole new riding style, darn it. I mean, these pants are incredibly comfortable and fit my fat back side very nicely. They are great but I feel they should be coming with a warning that wearing them Will lead to writing English style. I’ll probably be buying another pair of these pretty soon!!

I really like Tuffrider breeches. They have a lot of options, and are not crazy expensive. But these were quite baggy, which I don't like. But I washed and dried them in very high heat, and now they fit perfectly. Nice thick ribbed material, but not overly hot. Perfect for spring and fall riding.Update on sizing: I got these in white (the pair reviewed above), black, and tan, as they are very durable and great to wear for doing barn work before I ride. The black fit perfectly from the start. The white were fine, although still a bit loose, after I washed and dried them in very hot temps...they did shrink a bit. The tan are still too baggy, even after trying the hot washing to shrink them. I'll keep them for winter, as they may be fine with thick long johns underneath. So I like the breeches, especially if you want durability, but the sizing is all over the place.

In the world of Mens breeches there aren’t many options. These seemed like a safe try for the price point. Fact is they fit and feel great. Super comfy. I love the fabric. I’ve tried on some other courdory looking breeches and the were pretty stiff and coarse. These are soft. And because I’m a guy, pockets!In the 1st month the zipper broke on mine but the seller was a huge help and got me a replacement pair promptly. I totally recommend them.
