UPDATE Jan 2022: I initially gave these 4 stars due to the color not matching the photo, but I'm upgrading the rating to 5 stars because the quality is just that good. Despite my thighs rubbing together these have never pilled, they've held up beautifully in the wash, and are still comfortable and true to size. And it turns out the color, while not what I wanted or thought I ordered, hides dirt really well. Bonus.I'll start by saying that it wasn't easy to find breeches that would fit a 36" waist. There weren't a lot of options, so I'm grateful for these. They are well-made, flexible, and comfortable, and although they aren't exactly flattering to my mom tummy, they look fine when my shirt is left untucked, which is fine for schooling. I will say that I should have considered the ribbing on the thighs when I ordered b/c when I walk it sounds like I'm trying to start a fire, but luckily no flames - or pilling of fabric - yet! The reason for the 4 stars is that the color is WAY off from the photo. Yes, they're called Taupe, but the color on the listing clearly shows something closer to Tan, which is what I was wanting. These look like muddy water or slightly chocolate-y milk. If they hold up well I will order another pair in a different color because the quality seems quite good.

When I viewed these breeches online, I honestly didn’t like the corrugated appearance or the brand, but they fit my budget, and were the size I needed (34R).I wear size 11 women’s jeans, size 10 dresses, and am 5’7â€, 174 lbs. these fit me wonderfully. I love the high waist because I am very curvy and low-rises breeches often don’t fit me right and slip while riding.The nearest tack shop is over an hour away from me, so I needed to find something online. I have several other higher end Ovation breeches, but I decided to get something cheaper for every day use, to preserve the better quality ones. After viewing various other breeches on Amazon, I decided to take the plunge and purchase these.— I’m so glad that I did!To my surprise these breeches are VERY comfortable, fit me perfectly, and do not slip much while in the saddle, not to mention the great price.Perhaps what I like most about these breeches is that they are stretchy enough to wear leggings/long Johns under in the winter time, but still fit well by themselves.Although I didn’t like the corrugated texture in the picture, I really like how the breeches look in person. The material is very nice and they fit wonderfully. They do not feel confining while riding or doing everyday barn chores. These were cheap enough that I don’t feel bad mucking stalls or sitting in the arena sand during down time.The front pocket is deep enough for keys or phone, which great for trail riding. The only issue with the location the pocket (like all breeches I’ve seen) is that when you’re actually riding, whatever is in your pocket will jab your thigh/gut. I really wish they would make a large back pocket with a zipper, or a thigh pocket!!! :/I have worn these multiple times over fences and on active trail rides (often cantering, not just walking), and would certainly purchase these again!I highly recommend if you are just starting out, or if you’re intermediate - advanced but need a nice pair of breeches for every day barn wear.

I read the reviews and questions before ordering so I was expecting to be surprised/disappointed upon receiving this product. I ordered charcoal grey but it looks more like a grey/green color. I'm also used to having pants with that fabric but I don't remember noticing so much while walking. The fabric rubs together unless you have a neat and clear thigh gap, which is fine obviously but needs some getting used-to sensation wise. Once you're in the saddle you probably don't feel it anymore anyway. Next, the pants actually have velcros on the bottom not this sock thing which looks a lot nicer than velcro. I'm also used to velcros but these are a little long so make sure you have socks that are high enough and tight-ish so they keep that velcro out of the way. I could have bought their cheaper pair but didn't want to risk buying something really shitty.I'm leaving this product 4/5 and not less because it seems to be of decent quality and it's pretty comfortable. Probably a little big (I'm a 40 EUR or 31 waist and bought the 32R) (they're also stretchy), but quite comfy. The knee patches are a little stiff but it might get better with usage.

Had a pair for these for 10+ years as a teenager and young adult, that help up great - eventually the knee patches went and I decided to buy a new pair. Love the "sock" bottoms, great improvement. Otherwise very similar to the prior pair. These are fairly hi-ris comfortable - I typically wear low to medium rise but like the higher rise for riding. Zip fly and clasp at waist, with belt buckles. The elastic around waist is quite secure, but comfortable. Ribbed fabric is otherwise great and not see through/wont show most underwear lines. Very happy, would buy again.

These breeches last a long time, fit great, even when I gained weight (20 lbs) I'm still able to move easily in these, mounting while on the trail, for example. The Size 36 fits my 5ft 8in frame with 40in waist & 48in hips perfectly. Plus it has sturdy belt loops! Over the past 6 years I've worn through plenty of breeches, but these seem to last longest while looking good & not fading in the sun (my other brands went from dark grey to pink!)Tuff Rider always is a very good value!

Very nice! I just got them so not sure about long term quality but I do have a pair of Tuff Riders I got years ago, they are still in good condition. I’m 5’ 9, 240lbs and got a 36. I have a lot of hip and booty. Nice stretch and length. I love that these don’t have the Velcro at the bottom.

The material is super nice and I love the fit, it’s perfect for my shape and it actually had the sock bottoms instead of the Velcro like the other reviews said. Colour is a little darker but I still love the colour

Happy that they put extensions on the leg bottoms, as I have a very long leg normal regular are not long enough. these fit well.
