This kit comes with everything you need to complete the painting. The canvas stretches well. The paints were in decent condition, although a few were starting to dry up and get tacky. The pattern was easy to read, although there are quite a lot of small spaces. That might make it harder for beginners or people with eye issues. The end result is pretty and scenic, although there are some issues. This is one of those paintings that looks so much better at a distance and at lower light. Part of it is the design, but part of it is the fact that you can see the lines and numbers through a number of the colors. That's a consistent issue for patterns that do black print on white canvas. I wouldn't gift this because that particular issue is so prominent with this piece. But if you have a high up and out of the way place to put this, you can probably get away without too many people noticing and enjoy the painting better yourself. This took me 10 hours to complete.

I love this. It is so easy to see the numbers so I know where to paint what colors and I love that it is on an actual canvas. I don't like one of the brushes very much but I think that that is more of a me thing than the brush. I just don't like the way that it feels when I use it. I do like the way that it paints. It is really easy to use when I get past the holding. I really think this is a great thing for anyone who love to paint or who is interested in giving a paint by numbers a try.
