I have a 1996 c2500 and wanted to make it level with the front. I am very satisfied. I saw some negative reviews but, I believe these people aren’t mechanics, they are likely hobbyists. Yes you will need to remove your trailer hitch/receiver it will be in the way of removing the lower shackle bolts. You will then have to pick up the frame of the truck to get it at the right height to remove the upper bolts. I personally reorientated the lower bolts and flipped their position for what I think is an easier install but l… do it your way. With my new shocks it’s a stiffer more sports like ride and with a truck this size and a product at what I think is a cheap price it’s a win. I really think it should be called a rear leveling lol.

They worked as advertised, quick and easy under an hour to install. They fit perfectly and it gave my truck (2011 Silverado) a new look, at least to me anyway. I did the 3†drop and I couldn’t be more happier.

Simple install if you’re any kind of mechanically inclined, this shackle will get you approximately a 1.5 inch drop, if you have the non 4x4 truck there is no need for the u bolt spacers as there is no block to remove between the spring and axle. Hope this helps

I bought these to lower the rear end of my silverado. It took me half a day to but them on. The hardest part was bending the spot weld joint. Other then that it wasn't bad. Watch some videos on utube for instructions.
