My biggest complaint of low cost turnbuckles is they don't operate smoothly. I expect to have to hold an end, but not fight it. These are smooth working, and feel and look finished. Over my life I have only overloaded one to failure so that isn't a concern. I use a fair amount of these in both temporary and permanent applications. I believe these will be fine and getting 4 for the price of one at the hardware makes my wallet very happy.

Everything works as advertised.I find myself in need of a lock nut to keep the turnbuckle from loosening. Does anyone know the thread size of the hook?UPDATE - a 6mm nut does the job, but on the hook side only...

I sourced these stainless steel turnbuckles to modify a pickleball net to allow a stainless steel cable tensioned using these turnbuckles. These work perfectly and are about half the price if I had bought them at a marine store or a hardware store. Very good value

I used these to attach outdoor lighting for the backyard. So far these have worked great. I hope to provide an update year from now to show it is still effective.
