The isolation valve kit is absolutely necessary in order to properly flush the unit of scale and buildup on an annual basis. I purchased a home that was retrofitted with a tankless water heater. The installation was horrendous with the hot water supply installed on the right side and cold water on left, the TPR located in the wrong place and was unable to be tested because of its location, exposed electrical conductors that had brittle and failing insulation from UV damage and no isolation valves or hookups to properly flush the unit. The Twinkle Star valve kit solved this issue and appears to be of very good quality and works flawlessly.

Saves a small fortune compared to having a plumber flush your system. Easy to use.

This install kit is a must have when installing a tankless water heater. Good quality parts. This kit made my installation quick and painless. The extra contact points will make flushing the unit very quick and simple as well.I highly recommend this kit.

Wanted endless hot water. This works well so far but we lost water pressure and that was disappointing.Don’t know if that can be fixed or not.

I installed a new Rannai Tankless water heater. I used these for the isolation valves. Keep an eye in the little flat rubber washers in the unions though. One popped out when I removed it to make a pipe adjustment. I didn’t see it pop out but when I tried to reinstall it, I searched for a while but finally found it! I have a little sheet rock repair and sweat a few copper lines for the PRV, but was happy with the fast delivery, great quality and price.

I said that it is easy to install, because the installation includes only obvious connectivity with standard piping and electrical wires.Replacement would be an easy DIY project. But for the first installation or replacement to the tank heater, you still need to hire plumber and electrician to correctly bring needed water and power lines
