Of course, in the middle of harvest and the soul of my boot splits! I already knew it was time for new ones, but now I was in a situation where I didn't have time to go to town and try on boots.This was the third pair I ordered from Amazon. The other two I knew instantly they weren't comfortable. This pair, I knew instantly that they were my new boots!I will update after I wear them a while and see how they hold up, but for now I'm just excited to have found some!I didn't love the color they were (kind of a bit on the mustard yellow side of brown), but I treated them with mink oil and love the color now.They are nice and wide in the toe box and feel more like a comfy shoe than a boot. I'm super excited!

Very comfortable. The fit is good and does not slide off my heel like many of the other brands I have tried. I hope once I have worn them a while they don’t get too stretched out but for now they are great. The boot arrived with good quality in color and stitching. I wasn’t sure about the holes for assistance in pulling them on but found I really prefer them to loops. I bought them as work boots around the farm, not for playing cowgirl.

These are the only brand boots I wear, they are very well made and so comfortable, they are waterproof and actually last longer than most brands and I get so many compliments on them and recommend them to everyone

I wear women's size 8.5 to 9. I tried both 9 and 8.5 - and later the 8. The size 9 was just too big.The size 8.5, while there was room for toe length, was a little too roomy in the ball of the foot region.I did like that there is actually toe room in these boots. These are comfortable. But the leather which is advertised as "full grain oiled leather" is rather thin. If you get a piece of real full grain oiled cowhide leather and hold it next to the boots you can tell the difference. See article: "How thin can full grain leather be?" In order to advertise as "full grain leather," It states: "Additionally, full-grain leather can be split down to less than a millimeter and yet still retain amazing tear strength whilst becoming as soft and pliable as a fine fabric."So that explains it. The leather looks good, but is thin. It is supported by the mesh lining, however, but not a very thick leather on these, although they look attractive and I really like the color.I still like the boots, especially the extra toe - room, and they are comfortable like a tennis shoe. Update: I did try the size 8 and only one boot fit - the other boot my toes ran into the end. Some of the boots are not cut the same on both boots in the toes: the right boot was more squared off on an angle, which offered more toe room. But the left boot was more ovaled off at the angle, and that reduced the toe room on the left boot. If I want to wear these I would have to go with the size 8.5, which has enough toe room in the length, but is wider in the arch of the foot area, which makes it a bit looser.... perhaps a shoe insert can help.I am afraid If I order another size 8, I might have to buy and return until I find a pair without the defect. Watch for the defects in the toe region the way both boots are cut in the toes. Otherwise these can be very comfortable, like a tennis shoe, and offer some warmth for outdoor activities duing spring and fall, and would be a nice walking or chore boot as the name states.

After reading other’s reviews I was a bit Leary of purchasing these boots. I’m a perfect size 9 1/2 which means 9 is too small and most 10’s are too big and flop. Most people tell me to buy up if half sizes aren’t available, but no one likes floppy shoes! Unless they like getting blisters! I was grateful Twisted X offered half sizes. The toe box is just perfect to allow toes to be free but good enough to wear thick socks comfortably. The width is loose enough for comfort with a thin or thick sock. I have very high arches and always have trouble finding boots that support my arches well. I had no problem with the arch support in these boots. I’d like to say they fit like a glove!Now here is where others complained and I can understand their discouragement. Yes, putting these boots on is a bit of a challenge. Especially if thick socks would want to be worn for warmth. Right around the ankle support they’ve put a beautiful strap of leather. I see it’s purpose and agree it helps. But a slight adjustment of maybe an 8th of an extra inch would make it so much easier to put your foot through. I’m hoping in time, as the leather softens, it will stretch just enough to allow easier placement. That, for now, is the only small issue I’m having. Since the weather is warming up, I’m hoping by autumn they truly will be broken in and fitting like a leather glove!So all in all, they are a true fit to size and very comfortable to wear! Awesome arch and ankle support almost to a fault. I’m hoping they last the test of time for the investment. I’ll be working hard in these boots!

I’m a therapeutic riding instructor. I’m walking in an arena about 15 hours a week. My knees had been hurting. I bought these boots and they are fantastic! They are light weight, super comfortable and my knee pain has decreased! I’ll be ordering a second pair. BTW - they were recommended to me by another therapeutic riding instructor!

I needed to replace some old broken down boots, and finding something I could stand on my feet ALL day long was a real chore.... until I found these! Not only are they ridiculously comfortable, but after standing on my feet all day for 12 hours I didn't even want to take them off!!! They are THAT good! And I have bunions... no problem! In fact, there were no pressure points at all and my toes love the freedom to move. Brand new boots, straight out of the box, no break-in needed. LOVE!!!
