This is made of super good quality wood, and it is super easy to install. It is light weight so it is easy to install on any wall, and it comes with all the equipment needed to install it.

Just as good as the beast maker 2000, but cheaper in price. I wish the screw holes were spaced according to stud distance apart, but it’s fine. I just mounted it to plywood first

Good quality and beautiful product. Negative that I received a missing screw to install it.

Board is super smooth to the touch, fairly easy to hang with a level, my only complaint would be no like paper or on the box marker for wall install, gotta just level it right and drill in. Supports my husband at 190ish lbs with factory hardware.

The board itself is great. However, after about a month of use 3 of the screws snapped clean through. If you are a normal sized human being, I suggest buying separate good hardware.

As a beginner in the world of rock climbing, I recently purchased this hang board, and I must say, I am extremely impressed with its performance and value. This review aims to highlight the hangboard's features, usability, and a simple enhancement to further improve its functionality. The hang board itself is a budget-friendly option, making it an ideal choice for those just starting their climbing journey. Despite its affordability, it doesn't compromise on quality. The material used is sturdy and durable, ensuring it can withstand regular use without any signs of wear or tear. The texture of the holds provides a good grip, which is essential for an effective climbing workout. The hang board is straightforward to install, coming with all the necessary hardware. However, to take it to the next level, I would highly recommend an easy upgrade. Purchasing a wooden backboard and attaching the hangboard to it not only enhances the overall aesthetics but also offers some additional benefits. The wood acts as a natural shock absorber, reducing stress on the wall or surface it's mounted on. It also allows for more flexibility in positioning the hangboard, enabling users to adjust it to their ideal height and angle. One of the standout features of this hangboard is its user-friendly design. The holds are ergonomically shaped, catering to climbers of all skill levels. As a beginner, I found the variety of holds perfect for developing different grip strengths and working on specific techniques. Moreover, the hangboard provides enough challenge to progress with your climbing skills as you gain experience.Safety is a top priority in rock climbing, and I'm pleased to report that this hangboard delivers on that front. The edges are smooth, preventing any discomfort or injuries during use. The installation process is straightforward, ensuring the hangboard is securely mounted on the backboard. In conclusion, the cheap beginner-friendly rock climbing hangboard exceeded my expectations. Its solid construction, variety of holds, and affordability make it an excellent investment for climbing enthusiasts of all levels. While it functions perfectly on its own, I highly recommend taking it up a notch by incorporating a wooden backboard to further enhance the overall experience. Happy climbing!Pros:Budget-friendly without compromising on quality.Sturdy and durable materials.User-friendly design with a variety of holds.Easy installation process.Smooth edges for enhanced safety.Cons:None to report. The hang board performs exceptionally well for its intended purpose.

This is a great hangboard ! The finish is of high quality, super smooth in every nook and cranny. It's also quite compact for the number of finger pockets it has so that's definitely a plus. If you are installing yourself, make sure you have a 6mm or 5.9mm drill bit to fit the wall plugs that are provided with it.

Great board, from a beginner climber.Mounting tip:Plywood over the door frame to really secure the board in. Then another piece of plywood behind the hangboard (I cut it to line up with the slopers and bottom before it rounds off)The reason is that studs can be hard to find and this board screw holes dont necessarily line up with studs. Screwing it into plywood makes it really sturdy. Also, if you decide to change hangboards, you can easily unscrew this one and mount a different one.The pockets are good, and the finish is smooth. No splinters. It feels high quality, which was my biggest concern. For choosing a hangboard, I over researched the decision and landed on this one. While this board wasn't my overall #1, the Metolius boards are not easily available in Canada. Etsy had some really great boards, but they're all wildly expensive, and then shipping adds another $50.This board checks all the boxes, stays at a reasonable price, and is mostly comparable to something like the Beastmaker 1000, which is also probably just slightly better but also more expensive.I will also add that the aesthetic of this board is nice. Two Stones doesn't have a lot of easily found reviews, so for anyone who is doubtful of whether this board is a good from a brand that doesn't have a ton of feedback, I'd say go for it. Can't comment on the bottom row pockets since I'm far from using them, but the jugs are comfortable, slopers are fine, and middle row pockets have enough depth for a beginner to start training with.Wood is less grippy than resin, however chalk will help and resin is harder on your hands.
