Smooth finish and looks great. Try to hit a stud when you hang it.

Was looking for a way to do pull ups at home in an apartment setting. Came across climbing hang boards and thought that would be a great alternative to a traditional or doorframe pull up bar. Ended up choosing the Two Stones Hangboards based on the design and differing grips. Installed it today on a backboard attached to the wall studs. I am very happy with the design, build, and ease of installation. Will serve exactly what I needed for a small apartment space. Check out my review on YouTube for further details.

Donuts used to give me trouble. They made me fat, they were difficult to smash and they were messy. This fingerboard has solved at least one of those problems. I can even crush donuts with just one hand and while that might seem like a boast I'm here to tell you that you're right - it not only seems like but it is. I'm no longer afraid of donuts - or croissants - I'd go so far as to say that even overly ripe fruit like strawberries are things I can now smash.I feel so confident now that I sold my blender. Yeah.

I purchased this to mount above a doorway. I wanted a sturdy install to support my weight, but the placement did not line up with the wall studs. Instead I first screwed a matching piece of poplar above the top of the door (hitting the studs), then mounted this directly to the poplar. It works great and helps space this from the wall enough to avoid the door mounding. Hope this helps others!

The Two Stones fingerboard was pretty easy to mount (I screwed it into a 2x8 board which I mounted to the studs above a doorframe). It is rock solid (pun!), has a great smooth finish, and feels excellent when hanging. Since it's so smooth, using chalk may be necessary on some of the smaller holds.I spent a long time humming and hawing about getting a hangboard because of the concerns around mounting. It really was a lot easier than I expected.

I got this as a gift and the person really likes it. It is sturdy and helps improve finger strength. Also liked that it came with installation pieces.

This board provides an excellent workout. I installed it over a door by drilling the screws into the studs and a 1" board for added stability. However, in retrospect, I think that I should have spent a bit more and gotten the board with ball slopers. There is still plenty of opportunity for finger training but slopers are a particular weakness of mine and not being able to train that aspect with this board is definitely a negative.

Seems like a nice hangboard, but the screws and drywall anchors that come with it are not adequate at all. If you buy this with the intent of putting on a drywall surface, be prepared to engineer some sort of solution like the ones described in other reviews. I'm kind of surprised this got the nod from the safety department. After I installed it, a little weight had it pulling off the wall.

Great Beginner hang board. The outer jugs are really good and the middle pockets are fairly deep. The top and bottom sections are definitely good for more advanced climbers but this board definitely allows for progress.Installation was good with the equipment provided. I added an extra hole on the two bottom edge pockets because top screws went only into drywall and that did the trick without damaging the board.
