The cushion material is cotton cloth. It is because of the softer and more comfortable cotton fabrics.Although there are 2 straps on the top of the cushion, you cannot depend on them to bind the mats or secure the rest of it to the high chair.You must match with 5 points high chair straps to use it.It will work better. There are 5 slot openings on the cushion, specially designed for 5 point Safety Harness belt.

Question:
How do you install this on a high chair?
Answer:
You pull the 2 side strap though the holes your lap straps come though, put the upper straps over back of chair to the front and over baby's shoulders then string lap straps though the shoulder straps and through crotch strap. Crotch strap helps keep them in.Just looped the harness around and back into the one buckle. It was very easy to do. Depending on high chair and model, how we will adapt them.They go through the openings on the back of the highchair.( High chair straps doesn’t fit all high chairs. Depending on high chair and model.Please understand and forgive.)

We needed a replacement cover and straps for our high chair. This item fit perfect. The quality is excellent. Washing was easy and maintained shape but I did air dry.

Sending back because the red stars are not the right color of red that I need. The red stars almost have an orange tint to them in my opinion. Both the red and blue stars also seem faded in color and not vibrant so looks kind of old or antique like. Held a tomato up to it in photo so hope that help show off the shade of red. Otherwise, It seems nice but I didn't open it up from pachaging since I knew I was going to send back because the red doesn't match my almost maroon like decor. I did buy a different one from same company and I like it.

Very nice high chair pad for my traditional wooden high chair. Washable and helps baby sit up without sliding down in the chair.

I bought this for our wooden high chair. It is cotton so it does get messy. It fell apart after one spin through the washer on gentle cycle. It was a waste of money. While searching for a replacement I saw this one is sold by many different names, buyer beware.

Got a Graco highchair for free for nephew, didn't have pad or harness. Had to make new holes in pad but it still works lol harness instructions are for hooking to a adult dinning chair but a few trys i got it. Ultimately it works out perfectly for the highchair. I'd buy again.

The stitching around one of the strap openings is very bad so I had to return this. I know if I were to wash it the stuffing would start to come out.Material is also very thin so not great for a high chair cover. Lesson learned, it didn't cost much for a reason!

Using this combo on an antique wooden high chair. My only wish is that the straps were sewn double so that the ends had a stop to prevent it from slipping out of the tether completely - easy enough to add yourself - haven’t needed to yet as the straps have stayed in place. It is a thin pad but similar thickness to a pad we had on a plastic high chair so pretty standard. The design is really cute. Wish it had ties to keep the seat cushion in place- we used the existing lap belt for the chair to secure the cushion so made it work. Since I read reviews that it was not durable in the wash I sprayed with a few coats of stain guard first before installing and I’ve been able to wipe off all messy foods easily even when it has sat for a few hours. Overall happy with the purchase for the price.

Seat cushion liner great. Looks comfortable and fit my Grace high chair perfectly. Have not used harness yet
