TWSOUL Tree Climbing Spike Set, with Full-body Adjustable Belt & Protective Rope
For beginning learners, we suggest you start practicing using the tool from some low places (eg. below 1 meter), once you have mastered the way, it'd quite easy for you to conquer any trees. Choose a softer bark, the tree will not fall off the skin.
Guidance: Concentrate your force inward from the pair of "claws". Your hand and body always from a triangle. The climbing strength from the claws together with your climbing strength help you move upward. Please note the tree and move upward is not a correct way.
Try to choose those trees with diameter of 10 inches to 20 inches to practice. Should you start learning on trees with very hard skins, it would be quite difficult to make it.
Once you have mastered the way, you can climb any trees like a cat.

This set is comfortable. Especially the leg padding on the spikes. I don't use these to climb professionally but they worked well for me doing trimming around the house and getting into the trees as needed.

Harness is pretty good but the spurs are cheap leather not cut out for the task, tried them today and the one strap snapped while tightening, I had to use my old set instead

You have to cut a pvc pipe to make a shin support so it doesnt twist back, again gaff is for pole not for trees
