My son is a lean 7 year old -- maybe a little over average height. The size 28's fit him with a little room to grow but without being baggy the drawstring tightens up the top but his muscular thighs fill out the legs.I just bought a second pair for my almost 5 year old in a 24. Like his brother he is on the slightly tall side and muscular (for a little guy). These fit him nicely -- just a tiny bit of bagginess but they definitely won't fall off in the pool!We swim twice a week, year round and have been using the larger sized jammers since mid-October (it's now early March). They haven't lost their shape or become discolored. I think they're in almost perfect condition despite the amount of use they've seen.

Fits well; my son likes it and it his main practice suit. Hopefully it lasts as long as they claim!

Have had this suit for several months. Initially, my son used it in a heavy chlorinated pool twice a week for about 5 weeks. He's now practicing 5 days a week in the same pool. Suit is holding up like I hoped. I'm very pleased and he likes it. He's 9 and I ordered the 28 (he's on the thin side and wears a size 8 in shorts/pants). It's roomy, which I wanted since he can be funny about snug-fitting clothes.

My son who is 7 wears this for his swim team and it fits great and he says its comfortable. For sizing...he is 54 inches tall and weighs just under 70 lbs and is VERY lean build. The 28 fits his perfectly...snug without being too snug.

This is the second one we buy because the first one was really good. My son swims twice a week and he often forget to rinse it after using it in the swimming pool so, the suit often stays with all the chlorine from the swimming pool for days and the quality has stayed intact for months.

These only lasted 7 months of swim team practice (2-3 times a week) and washing once a week (never machine dried). They grayed, thinned, stretched and now need to be replaced.

Have worked great for my son. He has worn them 4 days a week for the past 6 weeks and they are still in great shape and look great. We follow the washing and care instructions to the letter with them.
