I chose the purple color, it is very pretty in person. I got size 22 for my 6 year old daughter. It is very fitted and tight, which I’m sure is how it’s intended to fit. It doesn’t cover my daughters bottom completely, it rides up and gives her wedgies.

While it can certainly be used for casual purposes in the pool or at the beach, this swimsuit is a very nice option for training sessions for girls who are on a swim team. The quality is very good, which is typical for TYR products. The sizing was as expected.

TYR has always been perfect fit for my daughters so ordering this is a no brainer. We normally shop for swimsuits that are light, breathable and lasts, as they practice 5 days a week. We have tried different brands of swimsuits and we found out TYR fits them the best.The MaxFit swimsuit fits quite well and does not move around. It has thicker straps around the neck/shoulder area that stays right where they should.

The quality of the suit is absolutely amazing. The stitching is sturdy and accurate, and the material, according to my daughter, is incredibly comfortable. I appreciate that the different sizing is down to the minutia, which can be incredibly important when swimming competitively. We have owned a few other TYR suits and they have all performed fantastically and lasted through at least four hand-me-downs.

This is a very well known brand for it's quality. It is a really beautiful swimsuit. It is made well. Since kids do wear these for swim competitions I do think they hug the skin better than other cheaper suits. If your child isn't competing and likes to wear their suit a little looser maybe go up a size. These suits can last several seasons.
